Subject: Importing workout from CSV?

Over the summer my gym got a slew of new spin bikes that have power meters.  Since the time change, I have been using them for some of my workouts.  These bikes can save the data to a thumb drive.  It uses a CSV format and I was curious about the possibility of importing the data here.

In theory, the bike computer can be linked to your Garmin or other ANT+ device.  In practice, with 80 bikes in the room...  yeah...  that didn't work so well.  Oddly it has no problem linking to the correct HRM strap.

Info about the bikes:  Freemotion Fitness Bike

Info about the computers:  Bike computer and power console (PDF download. no technical details though)

Example CSV file attached (this was a post-IM easy spin so cut me some slack)

Alternatively, if there was a tool to convert the CSV tile to something that BT already understands, that would be cool.

I will forward this to the programmer that does the uploader.  We'll see if something like this would be easy to integrate.

Thanks!

I was thinking about it this weekend and I'm not sure what the best approach is.  The Garmin has better HR data than the CSV file so it would be nice to be able to merge the two or import just the cadence and power data.  Hmmm.

Yeah, looking at it it seems similiar to the Garmin data...this is every second though, I'm not sure what the Garmin is with smart recording on.  We'll see.
