What is the difference???? I bought a new pair of cleats (red Keo) to use for spin and they are loose fitting. The studio uses Delta. My road bike I use KEOs.. whats the difference and why?

Delta cleats are much older and discontinued by Look. KEO are the newer cleats. The major difference is in the shape and thickness of the cleats. Delta cleats are a tad longer and thicker than KEO. Hence, the loose feeling.

Delta is a bad choice by the gym. Delta cleats are hard to find. If you're lucky, you can find some Welgo knock-offs. That's what I had to do when I bought a new pair of shoes and don't want to buy new pedals.

I have Delta's on my old road bike and Keos on my new tribike.

There really is nothing wrong with delta's other than that they are a little heavier (we're talking grams here).
But you shouldn't really be using one system with the other.

If you're committed to this spin class, get a cheap pair of shoes and order some delta cleats from probikekit or wiggle or chainreacton (online retailers) or you can even find compatibles on Amazon.

Most spin classes I've been to use Shimano SPD pedals as the shoes and pedals are cheaper.

How do I know if my cleats need to be adjusted? And how do you know in which direction to adjust them? I have been having medial knee pain and edema but my LBS says the cleat placement is fine.

I have pedals with the cage and when I ride 2+ hours my legs feel much more tired then if I took out my husband's bike with clipless pedals. Do clipless pedals truly make the difference?

I started riding this spring with the Carnac shoes on Look pedals (with plenty of float). About five minutes into a ride I get sharp pain on the outer edge of my feet, just behind the pedal.
