I was orignally told I was going to be a Banana Slug so I just want all of you to know how thrilled I am to be a Wombat!!!  In fact, I can even say I am familiar with Sheboygan having taken two of my kids to a water park there last February.

Feeling like quite the wimp compared to some of my teammates, but I will try to at least keep to my meager goals.  Will not be able to do much beyond my running goals but I could probably sneak some extra bike miles in.

Good luck!!!

I got a 20 mile ride in before work today.  I hope to do a run Saturday morning.  Still recovering from last weekend's race so I'm thinking 6 miles easy.  Then I will see if I can get back on the bike on Monday.  I may have sandbagged my bike estimate as this would have me half way to my goal by Monday.  I really am planning on this being a running month though.

Let see for this weekend:

Saturday I have a 10-12 Miler Run planned, then Yankee Game!  Go Yanks!

Sunday will be a 20-25 mile bike and then I have swim class which is prolly like 1600 M.

Cheers~

Great work everyone! I got my workouts in, despite Ernesto trying to rain out my run. Tomorrow is a must deserved rest day. With incomplete logs, we are still at 7% for just two days of training! Let's keep that up and we'll be top dog Wombat!

Yes, I got a ride cancelled by rain on Monday.  With no more tri races on the calendar I have lost motivation to ride in the rain.  But that will not be a concern for the challenge as my bike estimate was too low anyway.  I did a short run yesterday and rode 20 miles this morning so I think I'm on track right now.

Go Wombats!!

It's coming along well. Blue Steel is feeling a little rejected, but I'll get out and ride more once I settle down at school/work.

So, who's training this weekend? I got a 12 mile run on saturday and if I don't ride at least 12 miles on Sunday, kick my a$$!

Ok Wombats, looking good.

I know my mileage is low, but I'm pretty much where I expected to be at this time.  Don't worry, I'm on track.

I've been sick the past few days so keeping my intensity and mileage low.  My first first ever tri will be this Sunday so I'm also in the process of tapering.

After this Sunday its on!  I got my Philly Marathon in November so for sure my mileage will be back up!

Go Wombats!

Good luck on Sunday Jen!

How's everyone doing? I'm slacking big time, stupid school. Tomorrow, I have a 14 mile run and Sunday I have a retreat with one of my departments, so no training. Anyone else getting their miles in this weekend?

Wow! That is some great training Joe! Marma is looking to finish up strong and complete his goals in this last shot of summer in September. I got my 14 miler in today, and it was brutal!

Great job and keep it up Wombats!
