So there this little former hurricane causing a lot of wind where I live.  But I still went out there in the winds by the ocean, with gusts of what I'm guessing were at least 40 mph, getting blown sideways across the road.   Those were about the worst conditions I have ever ridden in.  But I got it done as I have a lot of riding ahead of me this month

Since a number of you seem to be from the Midwest, hopefully you will have some better training conditions tomorrow than I will likely have.  Go Banana Slugs!

Got some biking in today.....great weekend planned for me.

Run & bike tomorrow.

Run on Sunday planned - 6.2 miles

Walk on Monday - Jock&Jill 4 mile walk/run.  Walking cause hubby said he'd do it with me.   He doesn't run...so we are walking.

My wife drug me out of bed for a short ride today....count 7 miles of biking for the "Banana Slugs" .... GO TEAM

Ohhh...and there will be a run today; because if I don't, 90 miles is going to be hard to come by....I don't want to have to run an ultramarathon during the last week to meet the goal :-)

I think I underestimated my biking for the month.  I ended up doing a 40 miler today....whoo hoo!  Wasn't expecting that today and next weekend is my MS150 ride, so I'll aready be at 200 by next Sunday. Too early, it will look like I sandbagged it!

AWESOME day in the pacfic northwest. MT Ranier it her full glory!

I need to up my goal to 275 to make it a little tougher on me!

I'll keep my running at 40.

GO SLUGS!!!

I'm doing the Jock and Jill 1/2 on Monday, it should be a lot of fun. I heard they have a few thousand runners.

With the 1/2 on Monday and some good biking this weekend I'm off to a strong start.

Well 3 days in and I am 1/7th done with the running part of the challenge.  Now I have none of the biking done yet, I am hoping to get some in later today and Monday.

Course that could be hard, we have some more time at the Fair at New Boston today, and likely some cake, cookies and other goodies.  Something about a birthday for someone, they are turning 43 today.... I wonder who that could be?

Congrats all, great job.  I know I look like the one that is bringing us down... not to worry.  I did get a nice run in Sunday 8 miles and a great bike ride in Monday 42.7 miles.  So I should be doing great.

Missed 140 miles on the 30th and 31st, bummer. I started the challenge off with a sprint tri, whoopie for the miles. Things will liven up in the next couple weeks.

Let's get this thing rollin', er slimin',  you slugs out there!!

Thanks Speedball,
I have been updating my own log, just not posting it anywhere.  As of last night midnight I was at 29% of my monthly goal.  Total run miles 12, total bike miles 66.2.

I'll be adding to the run miles tonight and Friday.  That should put me at 21 total, which is 30% of my run goal.  Bike totals will be a little harder to keep up with.  But I do plan a nice ride Saturday and likely something Sunday as well.

Go Team!
