Good morning BT!

4:15am:  :60 on the KK-- 3 sets of 5x30 secs off/on sprint stuff (after getting the legs good and warm) Felt amazing

5:15am:  :45 minutes upper body strength/core

Yesterday afternoon I took my coworkers through a workout--so fun to get other people to start moving!

LundyLund--exactly what Susan said--I have to be protective of my sleep.  I'm usually in bed by 9pm during the school week.  My kids are older now so they stay up later than I do--it's just normal that mom heads to bed early.  I also have the 'blessing' of having narcolepsy so as soon as my head hits the pillow, it's lights out. For me, morning workouts are just the most efficient time to get everything in.  When I was IM training, there were days I was getting on the trainer at 3:30am to fit in a long session during the work week. I did what I had to do.

Have an awesome day--Jamie, I am going to look up this adventure of yours!  Zion is so gorgeous!!!  I'm jelly. Take tons of pics!

Cool, thanks, Kim and Susan. I also go to bed early (we have two kids under the age of 3), and usually get up around 5:20. I suspect as my training intensifies and the Texas heat increases, I'll be joining the pre-5am club.

Easy 35 minute run on the agenda for today - rest weeks are a blessing!

Have a great day, everyone.

Still trying to get back to normal training; having some annoying asthma/allergy issues lately..

Did make it through a killer trainer ride today. One hour with all kinds of high resistance stuff plus getting off the bike to do squats, lunges, etc. It's been a while since I've done that kind of workout--hope I can get out of bed tomorrow.

I just cannot do 3:30 AM. My final line in the sand (for now) has been 4:15. Before that just feels like the middle of the night!
