Hi all,
Can I get a recco for a running hat? Ideally something that soaks up sweat really well. Also, anyone use the Buff running hat?

Thanks,
Alex

Not sure of the model name but my favorite running hats are made by 2XU. They have a sweat-absorbing headband, very adjustable (I have a small head and some other brands are still too big even on the tightest setting), lightweight, mesh panels, wash easily and dry quickly. They come in lots of colors--I think I have five or six of them! Similar to those below:

I have the 2XU one posted by HotRunner and love it for the same reasons.

If not a hat, I'd also recommend any of the Headsweats visors for more venting.

Thank you both for the response. I would love to rock a visor, unfortunately I'm completely bald. I'll check out this hat online and see what I can do.

Thanks again!

I have used two hats for the last ten years, both are Nike Dri-Fit (one is a hat, the other is a visor). Both have served me very well.

I'm 85% of the way there to bald, but still prefer a visor most days. Rarely run in complete sun for more than an hour.

I don't run in hat's much anymore, but when I did I really liked Adidas. But, I rarely go out for a run without my HeadSweats visor. Absolutely love that thing.

Headsweats makes hats as well. I'm bald and been using the Headsweat hats for years. Light and comfortable.

I bought a Saucony running "ball cap" from a running store once. I felt stupid spending $25 on a 'baseball cap".
Until I wore it.
I keep meaning to buy another one and will before it gets too hot.
I liked the special 'liner' on the forehead part. I felt like it really did wick headsweat away instead of just running down into my eyes. Can't stand that. Especially when it carries sunscreen into my eyeballs.
