Subject: RE: February is Coming -tkbslc - 2007-01-30 6:04 PM I'll do bike or bike+run. Who's in charge? Right now there are 16 or so people on board. Looks like in Feb I'm not traveling anywhere for business, so I can handle tracking the weekly #'s with this amount no problem, up to 30 people is not an issue. After that I would like to see some splitting of the duties. I could also split us up into 2-3 teams up to ~ 10 on each, need to have some smack capabilities! If anyone has a Mentor thread, let's get those group members to play too! So Bike and Run it is, AGREED? I can make a new thread when I have the spreadsheet ready and have it sticky up top. What you all think about these for some Rules: - Must show your training in the logs publicly
- Monday through Sunday is the 'week'. 1st week is 1-4th, 5th-11th, 12th-18th, 19th-25th and 26th-28th.
- Plan for illnesses and or slight injury in your goals. I would like to offer;
- that a double sickness, injury or sickness+injury is ok to drop a team member.
- A prolonged illness (e.g. flu) or serious injury too.
- No drops in the last week of the challenge.
- No log input after 2 full weeks (a team member may be dropped as long as several attempts (PM) are made to contact them.
- Time (min/hr) and or Distance (miles/km) for goals. You can mix them , e.g. Run = time and Bike = miles or vise versa.
- Same trusty speadsheet format used for the Swim/Run challenge will be used.
- If someone wants to do only one event it should be ok, maybe even team up with someone else to run?
- Colts will win the superbowl!
- Hmmm, am I missing anything?
