I've had a full beard for the past 9 years, with the exeption of a couple of months. I keep it trimmed down and neat, so it doesn't look hillbily or anything. I don't forsee it coming off anytime soon.

It's seasonal. This year the winter face comes off before St. A's.

Every Spring Eric says the same thing, but then when I complained he'd relent and keep the goatee.  Except for this Spring.  He shaved last Friday, leaving a little blond soul patch and mustache.  I have to say, I'm not as disappointed as I thought I would be.

I wonder how much wind/water resistance there is in facial hair?

Stubble is different from beard hair though.  It's rough and scratches.  But as it gets longer, it's not as poke-y.  I don't like it until it's at least a week old and softer to touch.

That's a black bike and a pimp ride at that. As for facial hair, I believe a man looks best going 2 days without shaving. Very GQ-esq.

I classic tidy beard would be ok.  Stubble looks ok, but is stratchy to the ladies.    The goatee is overdone, in my opinion.   I peaked in your album - please don't go with the way you had it your senior year.....
