Extreme Veteran  474   Mountains of Colorado! |  Subject: what's the craziest thing you've done lately?i stopped training hard and eating right... i had to stop cause i was trying to gain weight...what you say... i had to gain 22 lbs last month to go up to cydesdale for a bet... what you say... well my buddy typically places in clydes and we were talking and he said that clydes were a tough group to place in... and as it always happens while drinking... i said i bet i can gain the weight before the race (a month and a half away) and not only beat your time but place at white lake...a couple of hand shakes later and a wager of 5 hundred came the milkshake a day from goodberrys and macdonalds everyday 22lbs later i hit 200lbs the day before the race... well i was nine seconds behind the first place guy who was 6'4" and a stud with about 5% bf . on the podium i rubbed the belly for the last time...satified with 2nd place and five hundy richer and a new respect for folks who have to carry extra weight while racing... next time one of the elites thinks that they are the shizzy tell'em strap 60lbs on your body and let's see how they do.....so now it's back to getting ready for imfl and dropping 40.... so that's life in a nut shell...i know i'm stupid but deniro did it for a movie so i figured i can do it..... so... what would you do for a klondike bar... |

While my wife was in labor on Monday I was rubbing her low back during the contractions (she’s only wearing a hospital gown) and I’m leaning over with my elbows on the bed and during a contractions I get “point farted” a couple times. We (her mother was there also) laughed it off between contractions. WELL, yesterday when I went to the hospital to visit the wife and baby (my mom brought our son to meet his sister also), I started to make a joke about those “point farts” and well…IF LOOKS COULD KILL!!! That was the most recent crazy thing I did. Note to self: Engage brain filter. |

It was Greek Week, and the girl who had said she would do it had class, so I got nominated because I was the only meat-eater with a stomach of steel, apparently. I did finish second to the guys, but I won the sorority category hands down. We were given 8 dogs to eat in 3 minutes, I finished 7 and half a bun, using the squish and dunk method. Oh, and I nearly choked. The only thought going through my head? "Dam, am I really going to die in front of the entire Greek community, from choking on a damn hot dog?
