All right, kids. Unless something goes really wrong at the tri tomorrow (KNOCK ON WOOD) I'm way over good for the bike, and it is my practice after long runs/races to immerse myself in pools and do easy laps, so I should just squeak by with the swim.

(Rest of) WORLD AIN'T ENDED YET!!!

My apologies to the East Team...

I was unable to get the last 45km or so this weekend, I was supposed to bike a portion of the Muskoka 70.3 Ironman bike course but a family emergency became my priority instead. The swim was completed last Friday though.

This Central Member checking In.  Doing more time and nearly more swim volume in the last 3 days of the month than I did in the first 27 days, I reached my goal.  So I had new personal highs in Swimming and Running (for good measure) and probably my second highest bike month ever.

September's totals:
Bike:32h 52m 27s  - 571.61 Mi
Run:15h 00m 37s  - 100.15 Mi
Swim:9h 13m 10s  - 22212.12 Yd
Commuter Cycling:4h 49m
Hiking:1h 00m
Racquetball:2h 00m
Stationary Biking :2h 00m (Trainer Time)
Stretching:45m

Don't worry about it - family emergencies happen.   I hope everything and everyone is okay.

I'd think it ends at midnight in whatever time zone that you're in....?

The second question is: What time does the pool close?

And the third question is: Will you be zipping around the neighborhood on your bike at 11:59 PM trying to get those last few miles in?

I hope your emergency situation is now "all better." (Needless to say, that's the higher priority.)

Finished my miles today and I am at 100% for the month.

Let's go ROW. Only one more day!

And you upped your goal too, so now I'm curious. Good thing I can just click to get to your log. That's a nice feature..... LOL

511.83 Mi?????????????????? You did over 511.83 miles on the bike this month???????????

Wow. I am impressed.

OK, that motivated me. I need to workout today. There are two days left for this challenge, and I'm gonna hit the pool and bike again!

D.

Well, it's not so impressive when you realize that I did not swim at all (Ortho's orders). My wrist is still messed up from the bike wreck a month ago. Need to get a CT next week on it. At least I can still rest it on the horns of the bike and ride.

As for running, I think I am becoming a road biking junky Man, I just love to get on my bike and go!

But anyways, thanks for the encouragement that you wrote above. It feels really good to be getting into good shape. I can really feel a difference over two months ago!

And, in the end, that's what it's all about.

(Which the losing team can keep in mind, if it was decided that they have to display a TwinkieTar next month. LOL)

(Yes, the above was a question. Is there a Twinkietar penalty for the losing team, or teams? Or was that just smack talk? I'm ok with it either way. I was just wondering.)

 Let the stoning commence.
