Good to see all the chatter while I was gone.  I have fallen back into the pack.  My marathon went well today and I will start adding miles back as soon as my quads calm down.  100% will be coming FAST.

wgraves7582 - 2008-02-18 11:25 AM Sorry guys. I got no B.A.L.L.S. in this weekend. I did a 15 mile run Saturday and was going to do a 40 mile B.A.L.L.S. yesterday, but our company did not leave until midnight Saturday and I was wiped out. So I took a 3 hour nap in the afternoon. My first rest day in a while and it felt great, but I was really looking forward to B.A.L.L.S. And today I find out I have to hit Chicago tomorrow through the end of the week so no B.A.L.L.S. midweek. Have to wait for the weekend. They have a gym and I might get some T.I.T.S. in on a bike, but I would prefer B.A.L.L.S. There goes my roller challenge also! That stinks!

Good luck!  Doesn't matter if it's T.I.T.S. or B.A.L.L.S.  They all count!

Thanks for all the nice words and encouragement.  I have finished my race report if anyone is interested.  I should be back in the saddle in a day or two.  Then look out, the miles will start to pile up...

Hello everyone. How are you all doing? I had a great ride today. It got really warm in NY today with temps into the 50's, so it was nice not having to bundle up quite so much. It was raining, but I like riding in the rain, so I had a lot of fun.

Great job on the Marathon, Emerson!

Got my T.I.T.S. up yesterday.  We have another artic blast settling in here so it will be all trainer ride and zero running (swimmy on Friday).  Planning on 30-45 minutes of higher intensity intervals tonight (Have Mercy spinerval) followed by some at-home strength/core training.

KathyG - 2008-02-17 4:47 PM As I wanted to be on your team but with the MA weather opted to go for a run team...I'm with you guys in spirit. I'm at 191 miles and hope I'll still make 400 this month depending on how the weather goes.

That's some great mileage!

Yay for temps in the 50s!

Of course, I worked all day, so I didn't get to enjoy it here, but.... At least I *knew* it was nice outside. That's something, right?

So there I was tonight, channel flipping on the TV.... I got to Versus and guess what --> Amgen Tour of California was on! I was so motivated that I did a short ride on the stationary bike. They pedaled, I pedaled. OK, so they were going a LOT faster (especially since I was on a stationary bike), but.... LOL

No, I'm not talking about silicone....

It's being televised on Versus TV this whole week! Yay!

(OK, so the TV coverage is less than I'd like, but hey, at least they're showing something. That's more than the other channels are doing....)

Yay for motivation!

Hi guys

I am just starting up again after being out with the flu for a week

So instead of being ahead of schedule I am now behind

But I have started up again, yesterday I did 5k but I should will still be able to make my goal. I will bike a bit today, and tomorrow I have a TRI (indoor), it will be interesting to see what I can do after being out for a week.

Now get out there and find/get some T.I.T.S

I was wondering where you went! I thought maybe you fell off the back of your treadmill. (Yes, I'm talking about your avatar! He just keeps bouncing around on there. LOL)

Glad to hear that you're feeling better!

GOOD LUCK with the indoor Tri tomorrow!

2.5 hours on the trainer? What did you do during that time?

Amgen Tour of California will be on Versus tonight, but late --> 11 PM, I think. Still, I may get some T.I.T.S. tonight while watching it.

Yeah, I go a lot slower than they do. (Wait, I'm riding a stationary bike in my living room - I'm not going ANYWHERE! LOL)
