Had my fitness evaluation with my trainer today ( the only time I see her is for these evaluations). My skinfold caliper body fat  is down to 22%, and my weight was 121 lbs on her scale. My body measurements were lower also! Getting closer to my goal all the time, even though it seems like it takes forever to lose those "last 10 lbs"!

I have LOST 7.78 pounds of body fat

I have gained 8.63 pounds of lean body mass

My % of body fat has decreased by 5.7%

My leg circumference has gone up 1 CM, BUT my skinfold test has gone down....basically my legs are bigger (bummer) but they have less fat.

My peak power on the bike has increased by 5 watts, however, the last 8 weeks of cycling class have been focused on building the engine, so it was impressive that my power increased at all.  The technition was pretty impressed, and this guy works with pro cyclists and pro triathletes, so yay me!

My cycling economy has increased by 2 watts, so I'm becoming a more efficient cyclist!

Those are awesome results Abby! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!

I'd love to see those pics too i146q. Could you post them to your training log album? I love the p90 workouts! My DH and I bought them about a year ago to use when we travel. I haven't done the complete program as laid out, but just use the individual workouts when not training and/or away from a gym. They are awesome, so I'm sure the results are fantastic when you do the entire program.

Hey skinny people!

As I have mentioned, 8-9 weeks ago I started an intense cycling class, called eCycling.  ... Feel free to throw this post back at me tomorrow when I'm pissed about the number on my scale

Abbie

Those were awesome numbers, congrats to you too!!

i146q - 2008-03-09 10:10 PM Well, I'm back after a wkend of binge drinking, pizza, a blizzard (16+ inches in 24 hours), total lack of motivation, and a report of still being below 190 for the past 4-5 days... ... - but in return, it's 70 degrees here, sunny and GORGEOUS.  No snow for me.  I guess we all have these little trade-offs.

Don't worry about a gym membership. What you need, as I suspect your already keen on, is a schedule! P90 is a 90 day in-hame bootcamp that trains all muscle groups including core and endurance strength, while promoting fat loss through extensive workouts. There fun, but honestly even level 1-2 kicked my butt. It's fairly cheap, and even comes with a resistance band that I still use vs. free weights. It was all under $60 I think. The commercials are highly motivating, but the results are ACCURATE. The only thing is you need to be honest with yourself, and do the planned workouts. It also comes with a meal program. Which I don't really follow, but always helps for recipes...

p>Cookies are evil.  If you fell to the cookie, I hope you enjoyed it immensely...  Oh, and get rid of those clothes that are too big, unless you want to be wearing them again at some point.  If you don't, subconsciously you're telling yourself that you're going to need those sizes again.  Just a thought.

Yes they are... And that's a good idea, I never thought of it in those terms (getting rid of unwanted clothes) Maybe donate them right?

I'm going to try but no gaurantees! If anything, PM me your other e-mail address and I'll forward the same message I sent to abbie to you. This goes for anyone who wants to see the 1, 30, and 60 day photos. PM a seperate e-mail like yahoo or whatever, that way I know I don't have to shrink down the photos and I know my yahoo server can handle the memory req'mnts.

Alright!!! I fingered it out, and I've posted 7 pix in my 'albums' folder. Everybody take a look and let me know if abbie was just pulling my chain... ("turning into stone") Just kidding, I see the results too! I am actually very proud seeing where I was and where I am now. Still, however, I have technically only done 2/3 of the program, and as I told abbie I'm taking the program beyond 90 days until I update with P90X (P90 extreme) ( the next system in the BeachBody.com arsenal). My sister bought this program for me ( for x-mas), but I originally asked for for the P90X system first. She said she heard it was very hard, and said the only way I'd get it is if I did the P90 system first. Besides she didn't have much faith in the system, nor in my dedication to complete it fully. So here we are, and I'm one day closer to getting P90X for my b-day in 2 months...

Josh I just saw pictures in your album there and all I can say is WOW! The difference is just amazing- well done!!!

So it's another Wednesday. I was dreading this morning more than usual because of the MASSIVE wedding dinner and the fact I haven't been working out since last Thursday. It turned out much better than I expected:

last week: 71.5kg
this week: 70.6kg
lost: 0.9kg

Unfortunately I'm still sick - I got the course of antibiotics and I was told not to go near the gym until that's finished

Hope ye all have a good Wednesday!

Today:  245.2

I have no clue what it is - clothes are fitting much differently than they were (in a good way, not in the typical bad way) even a few weeks ago, but I'm still static in terms of actual weight.  We'll screw around with the diet this week and see what happens come next Wednesday.

The scale is a funny, funny, mistress. Sometimes she is your friend, your lover. The next day she'll tell the world about your 5K / hr midnight visits. Well this morning, she was my friend.

Well this week prom dresses were droped and floors crashed!

last week = 201.6
this week = 196.2

Yeah!!!

Ok, way excited about this but reality needs to set in a little. My BF% was a few pts higher this morning that previous weeks. And there is no way I lost 5+ pounds in a week. I was under 200 for the last few days, but in the 187 - 198 range. All that usually suggest that I'll creep back up over the next couple of days/weeks. Hopefully not over the mendosa line. I'm off to a great start however as I celabrated the smashing of 200 this morning with a doughnut

Nice and steady Aidana...Nice job.

Ohio:  What can I say......WOWSA!!  I feel like having a doughnut as well.

Enders:  Way to go with the downward trend.  You are almost there.

Abbie:  Get a new scale.  A Tanita that measures BF and do it soon.  Since you have a good body fat measurement you can see how close the scale is and measure progress pretty accurately.  Plus a new scale adds a little bling to the bathroom .

I agree with getting rid of the "fat" clothes.  I donated over 200 shirts (some with tags still),  30+ pairs of pants (some with tags still) and I could get rid of more, but then all I would have is C9 shirts.

Last week 227
This week 226.2

I really need to start focusing more on my nutrition. I haven't been doing very good lately and that's why the weight isn't coming off like it should. I will say that it is very difficult to focus on anything besides work these days. I was at work on Sunday and had to raid the vending machine because I didn't come prepared. Don't even ask what I ate. And I have a business trip coming up at the end of the month where there will be an abundance of food and drink. But there will also be a pool and a workout room.

140 today, but I'm not stressing over it.  Hubby made pasta for dinner and bananas foster for dessert, plus my amazing cookie at 3pm yesterday, oh well.  Today is a new day and tomorrow is my bday, so I'm focusing on my results from yesterday.

saling- Was thinking of getting a new scale for that same reason.

cadreamer- I usually go through my closet twice a year and donate stuff, good idea.  (Side note on donations, I also go through the linen closet every 6 months and donate towels to local animal rescue groups and shelters.  Check around in your area, most groups are in need of towels/blankets)

Josh- I told you, I was NOT yanking your chain!!!  Your results rock!
