Reynold is a good old fashioned arrogant boys club DB and he is ALMOST as bad as Phillip as people I want to punch in the face.

I think true arrogance is coming from Phillip with "if you don't do what we tell you, you get voted off".

Man, I can't ever recall anyone saying that kind of stuff out in the open.

Do what I tell you, or someone will come up to you from stealth R us and tell you something,  you must do it.

BTW, maybe I'm a bit picky when it comes to words BUUUUTTTTTT...   Is it really "stealth" when you invite everyone and tell everyone and bring it up at tribal?

“You Keep Using That Word, I Do Not Think It Means What You Think It Means”

I could not stand him the first season... but then you just "didn't know". Now we do.. and it's not an act... even if they edit only the most absurd... even if it is only a 10th of what he says other times... for that stuff to come out of his mouth at all.. WOW. Every now and then I think I have found an exception, but later I usually found I have not... the bigger the ego on the outside, the more insecure and smaller on the inside.... Philip is one of THE most insecure guys I have ever seen... serious issues.

nailed it.

I think Malcolm really thought the favorites were splitting the vote between him and Reynold.  I mean, HE voted for Reynold and then didn't want Reynold to play his idol for Reynold...because if the favorites split between him and reynold and reynold plays an idol Malcolm goes home...

HOWEVER, if he really thought that then he was definitely losing a jury vote at the least...

If he thought he was going to be out of the game at that point worrying about a vote doesn't matter.

He did say "this is a throw away vote".  I'm still wondering exactly what he meant by that.  TO ME, it sounded like he knew Reynold was safe and just wasted it?

Don't get me wrong.  Malcolm's an excellent player.  He has excellent people skills.  He is excellent with challenges normally.  I just didn't think he handled losing last season very well.  In my opinion, how someone loses is just as important as how they win...maybe moreso.  Then, this season, his 1 on 1 interviews have been a bit on the cocky side.

Phil's a nut.  Plain and simple.  I enjoy watching him work the magic.  Is he going to win?  God no.  Will folks want to bring his "no chance to win" butt to the final vote?  I sure would.

Again, I'd much rather see an Erick or a Cochrane make it further in the game than Malcolm or Eddy or the appropriately labeled Reynold.  I still want to see Sherri do well...but it's gonna be tough for her.

btw, Andrea>Brenda in looks, but Hope beat 'em both in my opinion.

I wonder when some of these people will go (Like Cochran).  But it can happen at any time.  I'm surprised how some people are not even a blip on the radar for weeks and weeks, then out of the blue?  Micheal, for example...

No one is even thinking Cochran or Brenda right now.  They are not even ON the radar, much less a blip.

As Andrea said...Michael was a "safe" vote...nothing more.  Things got too crazy and they went "safe".

Sooner or later the tribe will move to cull the strong.  Malcolm, Eddie, and Reynold will (and should) be targeted.

They will be. And Sherri is a trip. You know she is capable, but she has not had any power from the beginning. Yes she was on the numbers at first, but that ended badly... now she is just trying to keep her head down.

I really like that chick.  She reminds me of Sandra Bullock...with a boob job.  Aside from that, she just has a really cool personality.  She reminds me a little of the psychologist from the midwest who it all last season.  She's physically tough too.

I liked him much more in Ponderosa then I did on the show. He has a personality and is not the typical bitter/mad person who gets voted out.

Yeah, I think if he'd been more himself on the island people might have liked him more and wanted to keep him around.

BUT, it's amazing what some carbs do for someone's personality...he may just not have had the energy to act so "happy" on the island. :D

He was seen as "disposable" and wasn't REALLY playing...so...he got the axe!

WOW!  What a tribal council that was.  If the majority is smart, they'll consolidate.  They must cull the strong...and search for the idols (they do get put out again onto the island, right?)

FABULOUS!  Loved that episode.  WELL PLAYED by Malcolm!  Everything an idol play should be...especially the element of surprise!  He REALLY got the alliance GOOD.  They were SCRAMBLING!

I hope they did shake up the alliance enough to make more things happen.

Malcolm had two choices...

1. He could have played his non-secret idol to save himself tonight...then hope to win immunity the next round and/or use his secret idol to gain an alliance.  I think he would have lost some jury votes if the other idol came out later.  This would have helped him stay in the game through AT LEAST one more tribal council...likely more if he won at least one immunity (highly likely).

2. He could have done what he did...IF he managed to change the fate of the game then I think he really cemented the loyalty of the amigos including their votes later on the jury....so, probably the right move, but may have only saved him for one more round.

The amigos NEED to get more support.  Looks like next week they target sherri...good plan, she is surely on the bottom of the alliance.  Not sure why Erik...maybe because they know he's the one that voted Phillip?

YEAH! And poor Michael because at the end of his Ponderosa video he said the only person he didn't want to spend alone time with was Phillip.

It was nice to hear from Erik finally!

So who is everyone pulling for to win right now? I don't mean logically who do you think will win but who do you like?

Me- Cochran. He has really kept a cool head and been solid when his alliance gets the crazies.

And I just want to say, I know you men drool over the young ladies but Dawn really looks great especially for a woman who has had 6 kids!
