I thought of all of you per our Alanis conversation. I wish I was as good at looking hot as B is. And how the hell does her hair still look good after shaking it all over the place.
Weird, that song is on right now...(Alanis, not Beyonce). |

Seattle | Subject: RE: Mental Manatee Mentors Part 3--CLOSED Just got a call from our coach. He is more excited about my race than I am! I guess, I didn't really realize what a breakthrough it was. He told me his new marathon prediction and I can't even believe it. Of course, Boston is another beast. He prefers me to run Boston strong, not 'fast' which is kind of what I was thinking. I don't know that it is a marathon to showcase speed so much, with the hills (up and down.) I am supposed to run everything like recovery this week to allow for the adaptions to take place. And basically not eff anything up now. Which makes sense. 5 weeks to Boston! |

Seattle | Subject: RE: Mental Manatee Mentors Part 3--CLOSED rrrunner - 2013-03-10 5:51 PM I am pretty excited about my ride today! I went just over 4 hours (4:09 I think) and did 54.5 miles! This gives me confidence about my ride at Oceanside because today I climbed way more hills/elevation than I will see at Oceanside. So here are my kit/steed pic and my elevation graph for todays ride: BTW I looked at this on my phone the other day and didn't have a chance to comment. Effin hawt!! |

I tried to put some black sarongs up on my kitchen window (even though they're really lax about Nyepi in my 'hood ... still). Take 1: I fall off the chair onto the tile floor. OUUUUUUUCH Take 2: In shoving the trash can out of the way to get the chair closer to the window, I accidentally saw off the tail of a ... gulp .. gecko ... so its tail is flopping around ... I think I'm going to die now. The only thing worse than a gecko is a dismembered gecko. Of any kind. At least I can write that word now ...
Perhaps we need to tie you down for the duration? Whips and chain are optional... |

I believe it will give you mile splits which is pretty cool! Now we just have to cross our fingers it actually works.
*I read some reviews and it looks like last year even gave people mobile updates if the subscribed to a runner. That might be overkill for y'all but it's pretty cool! Edited by Asalzwed 2013-03-11 2:56 PM |

Master 6595 Rio Rancho, NM | Subject: RE: Mental Manatee Mentors Part 3--CLOSED ponderingfox - 2013-03-11 7:10 AM So I was down in Tennessee this weekend seeing my grandparents, and I got to preach at their church. I preached on spiritual lessons learned from triathlon (a new fav of mine), and it turns out that one of the elders there is a triathlete, and is thinking about doing a HIM this year. So we're going to look into coordinating doing one together. Maybe Steelhead or the Rev3 Cedar Point in the fall. Pretty cool connection, if I do say so myself. Read this on my phone and forgot to post. Pretty cool stuff. Our pastor used an example yesterday from when he ran the LA Marathon last year. I totally connected with it! |

Veteran 2441 Western Australia | Subject: RE: Mental Manatee Mentors Part 3--CLOSED Asalzwed - 2013-03-12 3:27 AM I like the original better. The hair thing is easy - when you have hair like that you do it by flinging your head upside down and shaking the cr@p out of it while you dry it and then every time you shake it once its dry it gets better. However it really sucks if you have spent hours straightening it cause the first little bit of sweat and the curls pop straight back up. Oh man, I was watching a live Beyonce concert on VH1 and she covered Alanis Morisette's "You oughta Know" in the middle of "If I were a boy." I thought of all of you per our Alanis conversation. I wish I was as good at looking hot as B is. And how the hell does her hair still look good after shaking it all over the place.
