I'll try to get a picture this weekend, I guess. I honestly don't expect to see massive aesthetic improvement because I highly doubt I'll drop much body fat in these 3 months, which is the main way to really show abs. I eat too much junk.

Ditto, my friend.  Ditto.

True, true...tis the lower BF that lets those abs shine through. If you find yourself wanting to curtail junk, there would be nothing wrong with that Such a slippery slope. One day you're committing to 10 minutes of abs, a few days later you're considering dietary changes. Jeez, what's next?

I've given up french fries.  Surprised

HILARIOUS!  This is a strong contender for post of the week.   Well done.

I kid you not...this is at my gym:

It is always AMAZING to me when gyms sell crap food. WTF? Sorta smacks of indentured servitude. In your case, it's just a flat-out conspiracy;)

Ok, so I like the GHD situps, going to have to work in the time at the gym to get on the rack for it. Will have to slide out for a few minutes several times a day.

You guys said no to do more than 3x10 the first time. Ok, I will do 4, just to see how bad the next day!

Its good timing for me too.......we just took out Physical Fitness test 2 weeks ago, so I can go all out on crazy stuff for awhile.

Now I just have to remember where the gym is at!

No pressure, or anything.

It's nice to have you in the mix LB.  Now hurry up and get the knee better so you can come back and run with me.

Well, thanks....but I'm gonna need some help with exercises.  I've never done a sit-up, crunch, or plank in my life.  I'm not even sure how to start this challenge.....I was shamed into it by Switch.  Laughing

Oh, here we go...gonna just start out by throwin me under the bus like that?

I see how you are.

You're a smart boy.  You can figure out some exercises.  Doesn't your son have to do some sort of sick dryland work?  I bet he'd do this with you.  You could post his pic.  (I hope I don't sound like a dirty old woman asking for that.  I don't mean that way.)

Thanks Brad!  Now if only I could catch you swimming.....

Today shall be one of my faves, hanging abs with dumbbell between the feet.  Followed up by some work on the ol' stability ball with mutli-joint movement.  If I can finally manage to escape this place (work of course).......is it 4p yet??

No way! I'm not letting you catch me in the water, I have to hold on to the advantage that I have, you know! With not much else going on, I'm in 5x per week for 2.5K - 3K each day, so I am hoping to get some of my speed back from my younger days. Once this leg heals, I'll work on catching you on the run...but that's a pipe dream I think!

It's a good thing I'm  doing this.....my daughter and I went out for Greek food for dinner.  I thought the sampler plate would have a smaller serving of everything.  Ohmygawd it was ginormous.  I could not finish.

Nice job everyone!

Brad, we are still waiting patiently for your starting pic.  You're being very faithful about your core work, so I'm expecting big things.  Give us a starting point.

LB, maybe Judi has some feta left over from her Greek plate, you know, to go with your whine. You're fooling no one.  You loved every second of it.  You may be a good cop, but you're a terrible liar.

Teejay, you and Comet are making me want to check out these sit ups, though I may just call em GD situps.  Does Crossfit allow modifications?

OK, now I need to go get my core and my run done for the day (stupid challenges), and I am already way too many beers into the evening to be starting either.  Fachmie.
