I am seeing she is still going ? no ? 17km run done at 13h32 ?

Doesn't she have 3.5hrs left ?

25km in 3.5hrs ? She is at 10km/h pace right now ?

Not quite. I read that as 10+m per km. more like 16-17 minutes per mile. 10km per hour wuld be 6.2 miles per hour, meaning sub 10 minute miles.

you are right. I seriously need coffee.

She's still out there but needs to pick up the pace. Dig deep Yanti! I'm going to go out for a short pacing run before it starts to rain here.

I was about to go get on the trainer for a short ride when I discovered all my production databases down.  Now, if that isn't a sign I shouldn't ride I don't know what is.

Just checked Yanti's FB page. She was pulled/stopped at the final run cut-off (10k). She was fine and on her way back via "piglet." I am really in AWE of what she put together out there. Gutsy woman.

Really gutsy performance by Yanti.  Most would not even have toed the line given they were in the ER only 8 weeks ago.  She showed the true spirit of Ironman IMO.  Giving it all you got...even if all you got is not enough.

Only 28F here.  My gym in the garage sure is going to be chilly this morning.  Maybe I'll do the foam rolling inside.  lol  Strength training and a short run on tap today.  What has everyone else got going on?

Forecast here is for snow and ice pellets to start around noon.  I'm hoping to get a short run in before it starts.

I ran a 5k at the track on the weekend, 21:00 - 47 seconds faster than a month ago and only 9 seconds slower than my PR!

Hopefully a solid ride on the trainer with a little run after. Nothing this morning though. Still feeling it from the two swims over the weekend. Really went after it last night, breathing is still elevated a bit from that.

Recovering from a busy weekend...Saturday was an 85 mile ride, hike with the family and holiday parade..yesterday I pulled off a surprise 40th b-day party for my husband. I'm worn out (and a little hungover). I start work at a new school today, same position, just a transfer. I am trying to decide if I should swim on my way to work like I usually do or if showing up with "goggle eyes" and a slight odor of chlorine on my first day is not a good idea.

Sally, I am now tired just from reading this. As for the new job....I say go with the post swim look.  This becomes your baseline and the kids/teachers will see it as normal.

I have an orthodontist appointment this morning. Ugggghh. I had braces as an adult (well, as a kid too) and still have to go in occasionally.  Trainer ride planned later today.
