Nothing for me just off to swim meets this weekend Well, Bryce killed the MG! I am doing an Oly Sunday with Linda and Cheri! Silicon Valley International Tri. Hoping for good weather that is not too hot! Will be soaking the wetsuit in the tub tonight to stretch it out. Finished 5th in my race tonight, couldn't outsprint a 15 year old girl for 4th... To make matters worse she and her coach asked if I was one of our 17 year old juniors dad... Tony - do you have these conversations with yourself??? Part II here

True, I did tell them I was plenty old enough to be his father, but as Kyla said when your oldest is only 7, it just makes it funny. The 17 year old is acutually one of my better friends on the team, we do most of the same races. We were going to give him a ride to the race last weekend and Sam and I were joking that he is closer in age to our 7 year old then he is to us. |

I don't think there are really any lanes in the congested parts of NYC...cars, buses, taxis, bikes. They all kind of mix in together. The cyclists that I have seen in the touristy parts of NYC are some crazy SOBs. Weaving in and out of traffic, often without helmets.
