A few stats for you....

  1. I was the first poster on the last two pages.  So there.
  2. This thread has been going since 9/28/06...97 days as of today.
  3. There have been 2699 posts (at the time of this post)
  4. An average of 27.82 posts per day.
  5. We only need 301 more posts to hit 3000 which means approximately 10 days of normal posting unless we come off like the mob...

In truth, I don't think its the content that's the problem with the thread, I would suspect a thread this large impacts BT's forum performance - at least I've heard that's the problem with large threads on other message board software.

It hasn't got to that point, and I'd like to avoid it if possible. Really, though, it's just a naked display of power.

And the bass was my first nice one. sold it years ago. regretted it ever since. sigh

So if someone could come up with a mid-70's Rickenbacker 4003 for me, I'll think about letting the thread stay. Prefer Blue or Black, but other colors will be considered.

I used to play an old Stinger.  Heavy as a muther, too.  Had to wrap the tuning pegs in string because they were loose and would rattle.  Loved that thing.......

So it finally comes out that Marma will take payoffs to keep thread alive. 

Don’t let Welshy know.  Of course he couldn't afford the payoff to keep his picture thread alive.
