ok, dumb question for you guys.  I'm just chugging along slowly but surely and sitting at the lvl 81 Quests and just doing them once a day.

I've been doing it this way all along, and only playing my 5 lives and that's it.  I know there's a mechanism to get more lives from friends and asking friends on FB for help.  I haven't even connected my game to FB because I tend to try and minimize my friend spam.  

Is FB the only way to exchange lives and such?

I never ASK for lives, but having it linked up to FB, other players will see you and can send them.  It's sort of automatic and a group send.

If you play on an android, there is a trick to reload your 5 lives.  I heard there is one for the Ipad (setting the clock), but never tried it.

The importance of linking to FB is getting the "tickets" to the next group.

I fought it for weeks when I finally tried on a real computer and realized I had boosts that didn't show up on my phone or tablet.  I got down to 2 jellies (which I did many times before, and used the chatter teeth to get the last ones.  I think that's the ONLY time a boost ever really helped.  The rest get wasted.  When I finally get a level, it's always boost free.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!  Online they added more levels.  They have 500 now.  I thought I was only one group away from finishing but NOW have 75 levels more? 

I'm waiting around for tickets.  I should go back to that level with more experience and see if it makes a difference.

Well, not to rub it in, but I was able to do it again in one day.  Still took me about 30-40 attempts.  It is STILL a hard level, but I was better at it and got close almost every time.  Sometimes there is nothing you can do if a bomb gets stuck on the edge.  When I finally did it, I was able to setup two spotted/striped combos.

Dang it.  They have 45 more levels only through FB that don't show up on my phone or Ipad.  That's seriously cutting back on my lives.

Same here, 147 will be my downfall.....

Got past that eventually... now stuck on 158.

So I was stuck on one of the "quests" in between areas. It took me a while (2-3 weeks) but I finally got past it. It was 2 of 3. Anyway, after I completed it I put it down and came back to it the next day since you have 24 hours before you can start the next one. To my surprise I got a "It is your lucky day, the tooth fairy has granted you a pass" and it gave me a free one.  I was shocked!  And extremely happy.  I'm assuming, though, that this only happens in the "quests" as those are levels you have already beaten.

I just made 147 my !  Well, er... it was pure luck, but I'm moving on!!!

Bringing this back to announce that I'm DONE.  Well, for the time being.  I may have been "done" in the past, but I don't remember specifically.  I think it was ALMOST done then added new levels.

But just finished all the current levels AND dreamworld levels (as of 8/5/14 2:30 pacific).

I have to admit, I think there were two levels of the entire game I broke down and spent 99 cents to get a lollipop hammer to get rid of one pesky thing.  I was hoping to do the whole thing for free but there was a couple next to impossible levels so maybe spent $3 begrudgingly.
