DONE for the East Team!!

Swim:  18,000 m = 100%
Bike:    342 mi = 114%

Also threw in 109 mi of running for good measure

This was great for me.  I really don't think I would have reached the swim goal on my training schedule if I didn't feel like I was being held accountable by my fellow Easterners...and, of course, just wanting to crush everyone else!

Stoned sounds good!

Looks like we Westerners will be doing the Twinkie dance! I didn't quite make my swim, but did squeeze the bike miles in. Happy Twinkie-hunting teammates - sorry to let you down!

Trish

Edit: That's two in a row for me! I'm a jinx!

I have to admit. Looking at a twinkie is more appealing than looking at my own arse

That's also 2 challenges I've lost but it's the taking part that counts, right!? Right!?

Thank you everyone for a wonderful challenge! DONTO--you have been the most awesome organizer and team member. Super, super thank yous for the hard work, inspiration, and helping to make us better triathletes.

I hope ROW is in for an upset victory ... we'll see ...

I just squeaked by with +5 minutes over the swim, and a comfy +45 minutes over the bike.

I agree. This challenge was GREAT for me. It really made me push hard on both the swimming and the biking.

Unfortunately, we are going to be Twinkies for the next month. I am uploading my TwinkieTar as I type this.

I am sure that LastCall will be doing her EVIL LAUGH when she reads this.

Donto - Thanks for organizing this and doing all the spreadsheet work!

I enjoyed the challenge. It definitely made more work out more than I would have otherwise.

Now, however, I'm still in "Swim / Bike" mode, and I need to change to "Run" mode for the October Challenge! (Running isn't easy for me, either!)

Having lost the challenge, my Twinkietar is now displayed for all to see.

LOL!  That's great.   You'll be a hit on all the forums.   (Or will they be hitting on you?  Probably that too.)

Great picture.  I didn't see that one while I was poking through Google's Twinkie images.

I swam again today.  I'm stuck in swim/bike mode.  LOL
