About 6 years ago, I got rid of it, but I kept the frame and just put a mattress inside. When it was a waterbed I had to keep my dog off of it, because she would crawl under the covers to snuggle with the warm mattress. Then, when she was startled awake during the day by an outside noise, she would poke the waterbed with her nails and put a hole in it. I had top rig something to keep her down, and it involved a couple of eye screws (pretty big ones) mounted into each side of the frame. They are pretty large. Anyway, we got rid of that frame when we moved because we got a new bedroom set. My brother in law, wanted the frame. He came to get it this weekend and walked into the room and saw the screws. He looks at me and says - "seriously, could you take the hooks you use to tie my sister up off of the bed before I get here?" It was hilarity. |
