And treadmills? Blech! Take it nice and easy. You deserve it. No, really, you do. Love, A concerned BTer not in the challenge on a team that might be competing against you. Just my kind o' elements, Doot! Bring it on! You need to relax, sit back, nurture your injured yung'un, and tip back a 40 wit da' homies. EEEAAAWWWW! |

I can attest to it, since I ran just over 6 miles tonight! The LIVING DEAD(heads) are coming to getcha! |

Extreme Veteran 346 Concord, NC | Subject: RE: The Living Dead Team Thread I sure hope you and your son feels better! It is no fun to be sick. The best thing you can do is rest to get healthy and then get out there and make up those miles. Ran a 5k this morning, my latest contribution to the team. Did it in 35:34 without stopping, that is huge for me. I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend. |

Master 1748 Port Moody, BC | Subject: RE: The Living Dead Team Thread took part in a fun little urban adventure race today with a friend, 11+ miles o'runnin'. we kicked the crapola out of the race, took 6th out of 42 teams, not as good as we could have been, but it was the first time we tried the race...next year we will have success in the world domination! You have 4 hours to find the locations of 10 clues the scamper back to HQ to check to see if your guesses were correct, you have a home crew on the computer assisting you, wicked fun! Master 1903 Portland, Oregon | Subject: RE: The Living Dead Team Thread Haz! What a fun event!! Do you have a link to it? Sounds like a great way to get 11 miles in without even really noticing. 1for1 - Welcome to the team!!! Great to have you on board. Saling4 - Wow!! You've been busy! You do good work. Want to come over to my house? I have some projects I haven't finished yet... could use some help. TTwinM - your week sounds almost as good as mine. Though I must say that mine did not involve vomiting, so you win on that one. I am sick with a capital S. Got it on Friday. I have been spending a gorgeous weekend coughing my lungs up. Just lovely. I'll get back on the running bandwagon as soon as the chest clears out a bit. No worries. It's still quite doable. Good thing I didn't choose more than 50 miles though. Whew! Hope everyone else had a great weekend!! Go Living Dead!! |

We didn't realise there were not any other teams (only individuals) so we won! Earlier in life I was ranked #2 in the province in badminton so I hope I have some cardio memory stored up somewhere. that about sums it up.... Ummm, were there more than 2 badminton players in the province at the time? I used to play, but was kicked off the team for giggling every time someone said "shuttlecock"! You win the cool pictures award! I am also a couch potato, trying not to get hooked on the new shows is not happening. Get a DVR.. Then you watch when you want, fast forward through the commercials, and shows don't interfere with the run! |
