ok, that's it.  I'm moving to where I can bbq salmon in February and swim outside.  We got 4" of snow today, which isn't much, but it's on top of solid ice on the trails.  Someone needs to tell the person in charge of the weather that CO is not part of the midwest.  We're not supposed to have snow and ice all winter below 10,000 foot elevation.  Seriously.  Thank you for listening.  I'm done now.

So........ I guess that now is not the time to mention that it was about 63 F here today? If it makes you feel any better, I was working all day, so I wasn't able to get outside and enjoy it.

But I think it's better to be working and be able to look outside at nice weather than gray skies and snow.  Last week I ran late morning and the sun was shining and the birds were singing and I was happy all day.  Today I just wanted to crawl back in bed and sleep.  You'd think I'd get over this after living all but 4 years of my life in snowy winter locales!!  Maybe this is why people retire to AZ & FL -- honey we're moving!  Pack the bbq!

I'm sorry you couldn't get outside today!  I'm glad I didn't have to go outside today

Well I didnt run...but da da da da....(my drum roll)....

I got in the water and I swam!! WOOOOOOOT WOOOOOOT

Only swam 1500m but was able to finish a few sets without sinking to the bottom! Was a bit chilly outside...but once I got in...felt fabulous. Here is a picture of where I swim...the far pool that you can barely see is where I usually swim laps....8 lanes and very seldomly ever full.  but I would like a roof and a heater and a tug boat and a.....

 

As you can see...twas a beautiful day in my neighborhood...not a cloud to be seen! and supposed to be that way all week...woopee

Will get another short run in tomorrow....have a great evening everyone...salmon is calling me! my dh just finished bbqing it! he's a keeper! and really cute too! )

If you look closely, you will see weather wuss in my logs. I know there is cold and and hot weather rants in there. I did write that stuff

And you look in the mirror when you say everready bunny....your a mom, teacher, wife, VS model, explorer [well we wont talk about the broken ribs and how that happened! )] and a pace booty....that just wore me out saying all the things you are....get the picture! oh yeah and a NEW AUNTIE 

So is that why you went to visit the new nephew...have to teach him young, eh Allyssa? hehe

good to see that your out now, Dee...sure you are spreadiing your glitter about...someone has to until we get our Beth back...have you heard from her? I dying to know how the day was! and if she got her laptop...if not I am mailing her mine! )

yay Lynne...which one of your new swim suits did you wear? I think the turquoise one would have been the choice of the day...glad to see that you snuck that little gunna run thing below the big "I went swimming" note! hehe good to see you are feeling better girl....NOW GO RUN! hehe

julie, that pic is great!! i emailed it to my sister now that i'm all inspired to go go go, i think i'm going to bed. going to run run run tomorrow, who's coming to be my pace booty, i think we need a sign up sheet!

I ran 3.4 miles in the pre-dawn fog. Kinda strange, kinda eerie, kinda cool.

Go gettem Pam....its back to the pool this afternoon for me...and will probably get in a small run, too...no worries...I will reach my goal...and hoping to go over incase we add the percentage again this month.

Everyone make sure to get out there and run run RUN! 24 days left.....do not wait til the end and then start telling us you will not make it....go run now and get those runs knocked out!

Oh....and go vote today if your state is one that is voting today......time to make a difference!!

I'm baaaack!  well, for a quick fly by posting just to let everyone know I'm here safe and sound.  I'm still waiting on my official computer   so I'm not sure if I'll be able to post much

i did get a run in this morning!

(or snow works the same way) 1. very refreshing/exhilerating 2. impresses friends and neighbors (wow that is one dedicated chick!) 3. you don't get too hot-last time i ran in the rain/snow my sprots bra wasn't even sweaty! AND 4. rain running officially makes you a tough chick! all you need is a pair of scissors and you're all set! now that i've said all that, i don't think i'll be able to beg out on my run today, just because of the rain i'll be a good girl and go,

Oh hell no. I'm hitting the treadmill at my nice and comfortably warm gym.....rain?  I just bought new shoes you know!!!!   

 74 and sunny here and I am gettting 2 miles this afternoon....thats 9.2 since Saturday.

 GREAT job.  With weather like this we southerners better do our part for the team.
