I have a date tonight, so that definitely takes priority over standing around a nasty bog in a thunderstorm wondering if I'm going to get hit by lightning.

What could be a better date then bringing her to OWS and introducing her to the cool kids?

Because the last time I broke out a giant rubber suit on the first date, she ran and locked herself in the car.

Although Jerry won't be there, I still think that if you want a 2nd date, wait a while before introducing her to these people

I'm cancelling tonight. I keep hearing about all this bad weather, and I don't wanna get stuck driving in a storm. I'll try again next week.

I am going to say that what happens at OWS stays at OWS. I never expected to eat dinner with a new husband after all.

Quit gloating. You know he doesn't have as many dirty clothes as Tanya has to wash now.

I got out the cloths department with my wife. She watched me wash my cloths once while we were dateing. Now I am not allowed to go near the washing machine.

I still don't see the problem with putting all the cloths in one load, and hot is suposed to clean better, right? It worked for me in the Army even though all my cloths were the same Camo.

That is the classic male way of getting out of laundry. I sort my clothes into two piles. Dirty. Not dirty.

Dirty can all be washed together.

Now, like you, I am only allowed near the washing machine when she's out of town.

I am pretty sure my new guy does laundry and irons! At least he matches his clothes up nicely. Too bad he will never read this.

Is anyone planning on swimming this week? I know it's a few days away but I am wondering if I should plan on it or if everyone is tapering and resting for MM.

Beer PROBABLY isn't the best thing to drink the day before a race. But I would probably still do it.  If it's good beer.

I'd love to make a quickie swim appearance, so I'll be there! No running for me after. I'll be running in the AM when it's cool (or less hot) outside.

I got the cooler loaded and mojitos on ice,  plus michelob ultra for us needing a less calorie drink.

How far do you guys swim,  sorry but this is gonna be my first ows.  I'm a little nervous.

I am running this morning as well, so I will just be swimming.

Scott...if you are a little freaked about the OWS and being out in the lake, bring your pull buoy along.  I usually use mine when it's too hot for a wetsuit.  It just give you that little bit of extra flotation that convinces your mind you won't sink or drown!!  If you don't have one there is a Big 5 along the way on Power. I think they are like $10.
