Happy Tuesday Cold Turkeys!  Got a Body Step class in this morning, does it count toward my goals if I am incredibly uncoordinated??  I hope so.  I really need to get on my trainer too - need to figure out Jorge's plan.  Hope you all have a great day!

Jorge's plan is pretty easy to figure out.  Just remember, the warm ups and cool downs are on a separate sheet from the main set.  It will say Warm up #1; MS 3 at 10' (2') 1st 10 80-85%, 2nd 10 85-90%, 3rd 10 90-95% CD

Read that like - do the warm up #1 from the warm up page; main set is 3 efforts of 10 minutes with 2 minute recovery after each.  1st 10 min go at 80-85% of Lactate Threshold (HR or RPE of approx 4-5), 2nd 10 min go at 85-90% of LT, etc.  Then do the cool down from that is on the same page as the warm ups.  Interval work really helps the trainer not be as boring (so does movies - I watched Blades of Glory last night on my 90' easy ride...)

Thanks so much for that, I was really a bit confused with what I was supposed to do!  Now I have no more excuses!

hey Cold Turkeys -- happy Tuesday!  Today is my only (planned) off day this month and I'm enjoying it   Ok, not really cuz I'm at work and had to drive an hour and a half this morning so my daughter could take her drivers test and am reffing volleyball tonight til late, but that's why it's a training off day and I only have one so I'm going to pretend I'm enjoying it   Looking forward to training time tomorrow!

Back from the ortho.  Good news / bad news type of deal - looks like I have a MCL injury which should heal itself.  Bad news is that it take 6-8 weeks to heal.  I am only 3 weeks in!  I need to adjust my goals for the month, as running is out for the rest of the month!  I want to change it to 10 core workouts instead of 10 running sessions.  Any objections?

Well, at least it should heal itself.... Go adjust your goals. I can't see anyone objecting....

Thanks Dee - we always appreciate a drive by tasing....

I know how much you enjoy them! Especially with my little leopard print taser.

Yep, it matches my favorite underwear

Wow.  I'm impressed.  Longest I've gone on the treadmill is 6 and I was ready to jab myself in the eye with a hot poker just to relieve the boredome.  Way to get it done!

Hey there, Turkeys.  Hope everyone is having a happy hump day.  I'm stuck at work and bored to tears.  It's a nice day out there and I'd much rather be outside riding my bike.  But since the hubby doesn't make enough to qualify for sugar daddy status, I've got to stay here and earn a paycheck.

I fell a little behind on the goals this week but, no fear, I've got a plan to get all caught up by the end of next week.  As a matter of fact, I've got some fun on the trainer scheduled for this evening after I get home from work.  Good times.

Oh yes!  Good times - Jorge is going to punish me tonight with the LT test...  Of that I am sure!

Got in about an hour of drainer time - did Jorge's W2 Q1 workout - unfortunately my HR monitor is not working again, so looks like I will be on the RPE version until Santa shows up...  Good hard workout tonight though...

Happy Thursday!  I managed to get in a late-night trainer ride last night.  I'm hoping this warmish weather holds out for a few more days so I can maybe get out on the road for a ride on one of my days off.  I miss the wind in my hair and bugs bouncing off my face!

Yes, not to call anyone out or anything, but I see at least one with 0% complete, I'm guessing that drags the entire average down quite a bit...Undecided
