Their three votes would have been enough to get Phillip out and all the other votes wouldn't have counted. I know the way it played out is the same in the end but it would have been the biggest blind side to all seven of them. But the drama factor of the way it played out was awesome, everyone's faces, and the discussion right in the open.
To get them to turn on each other and create a paranoia. It didn't work like they wanted where everybody turned on Phillip and Andrea but it looked like it from the editing. In the end they all followed Phillip off the cliff. We'll see what happens next week if it was a one shot deal or not. It seems the stealth r us alliance wasn't considering final 3 yet. They were just working on getting rid of the 3 amigos and not having a plan b or c. Now they are confronted with a reality that their ring leader is gone and who to target next? Do I go by loyalty or do I take who I think I can beat in the end? Well, they didn't KNOW it but they could have saved the idol Malcolm played because Eric did turn. Eric tried to hint to them with his "save one of them if you can" comment, but I guess it wasn't enough to give Malcolm a warm fuzzy that he could hold his idol. Does anyone think Phillip was REALLY ringleading or do you think StealthRUs was just LETTING him THINK he was ringleading???? I mean, if they were just playing him then none of them really had anything to lose by switching their vote to Phillip so I'm surprised more didn't. It's grey. He was ring leading, but because they were letting him. He was calling the shots and they were following. I don't think anyone else was calling the shots YET. They figure if they agreed enough with Phillip, let him continue as the leader, then stage a coupe when it's convenient. |

Champion ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Rather sad. They made a good plug to Sherri and Eric...really surprised neither took them up on it. Sherri is FOOLING herself if she thinks she is anywhere but on the bottom with the favorites. She just helped vote out her numbers. Or maybe she thinks they won't see her as a threat? I dunno.... If I'd been Malcolm...SCREW Andrea...I would have been digging no matter who was watching...I might have done some digging in other areas first so they couldn't figure out the clue, but I would have kept digging...he had nothing to lose really. |

Well played by the majority. Erik would have been a fool to go with the "3 amigos." He has the option of competing against clearly weaker players in challenges with Cochran, Dawn, Andrea, Brenda, and Sherri. Likewise with Sherri. Also, Sherri may be able to curry some favor with Reynold and Eddie to help protect herself in the coming weeks. I do agree with you on the digging regardless of Andrea watching. Heck if he was smart, he would have started digging in the wrong place just to lure her in and tire her out, THEN ease his way towards the more likely spot. I'm surprised Cochrane hasn't picked up on Dawn's closeness with Brenda (or maybe he has and the show isn't pointing it out). The core members might be wise to vote one of them out after they get rid of Reynold who MUST be taken out next.

Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() About the only thing dumber than not looking for the idol no matter what... was teaming up with Reynold and Eddie to begin with. I didn't even get it at the time. The two other strongest players are on the outs... let them be out. Who in the world looks to keep the two strongest players to align with? They could have been eliminated, and then Malcolm could have kept his idol and made a move when it was really in his favor. I was a fan... but he really played that one wrong. He knew the score going in, too soon to show your cards. The idol was Malcolm's only play. If he does not get it, he is out no matter what because then they know one is gone. If he gets it, he is only alive for another week, but it could be enough. Those on the outs usually scramble to get the bottom feeders in the strong alliance... usually I agree with that for the bottom peeps to flip the game in their favor and make a move... but in this case Eric and Sherri have absolutely ZERO reasons to keep the 3 strongest players in the game. Yes, we all know it will flip when they are gone, but get them gone. There was no reason at all to save any 3 of them. They both played it right... and $20 says both of them team up to fpil another when the time comes. Cochrane... easy player... no way in heck you win that without the advantage. He will get a target on his back only because he is the one in that alliance playing the hardest... sort of. But he is much more likable this game. |

Master![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Good episode last night. I hate that Malcom is gone but Andrea sort of "idol" blocked him. If he started looking for the idol right in front of her she could have started digging to and found it before he did and he was dead in the water.
I'm not sure why Sherri didn't go over to the dark side. She seems to be on the bottom of this alliance she is in and this was her last chance to make a move. She could have made the case with the 3 amigos that she is least liked and would be good to take to the finals to make her case and she's a very good speaker. Seems like everyone is breaking down. Brenda was unbreakable in her season but no food can do that to you. The three amigos should have had a plan at the auction to get whatever advantages they could and screw the rest of the food. I'm rooting for Cochran now since he's the only one besides Andrea playing in that alliance. Reynold is hanging in there considering he's been a marked man since day one that is respectful. Sherri is just a pawn, Brenda seems low key this season and if I wasn't over Dawn before I'm really over her with that annoying a$$ Xena warrior princess yell when they got tree mail about the auction. No thanks Jeff. The majority seems to be overlooking Eddie. He's pretty strong and while he isn't the best speaker of the bunch he could make a case if he made it to the finals about being an underdog and fighting his way to the end. Overall good season and MUCH better now that Phillip is gone |

I think he saw his place with the favorites at the bottom of the pecking order and maybe made his move to early. |

Then, the low people on the S-R-U totem pole would know their place and the Three Amigos would also know who they were. It didn't exactly work out... This week.. Cochran should not get too cocky on winning challenges. He'd of had no chance in the last one without the advantage (which I think was too great of an advantage - it should have been only 1 knot) Malcom should have kept digging! I'm done with Dawn... she's just annoying. |

![]() ![]() |
![]() Yeah, should have kept digging. Possibly Andrea starts digging too, and maybe she finds it, but he will definitely NOT find it without looking. Dumb play. And Andrea is getting hotter, for some reason Eddie voted for Malcolm on the revote. Interesting... I thik SHerri and Erik made the right move. They'd be on the bottom with the favorites or with the three amigos, so the devil you know. And if you don't switch you don't have to deal with the betrayal angle later. I think he saw his place with the favorites at the bottom of the pecking order and maybe made his move to early. But he wasn't... because he knows he can win challenges... especially with Reynold and Eddie gone, and he had an idol.... his name was thrown around in the beginning of his last game too and he survived fine. Obviously he could have not wanted to go that route this game... but that route got him one challenge away from final 3. Plus the SRU alliance... how do you even take that seriously... way too many people, only a couple key players. |

Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() 1st rule of Survivor...NEVER GIVE UP YOUR IDOL! As entertaining as last week's episode was, it came back to bite Malcom this week. He could have played it, stayed safe for another week and had time to look for another idol. DUMB DUMB DUMB. Add my voice to the chorus singing the praises of Andrea's beauty. |

Sensei ![]() | ![]() Cochran is playing perfectly. I was saying to play the advantage as soon as you hit knot two, and he did. He's winning and STILL under the radar of being a threat! But one question, why the resentment towards Malcom? He seemed a little spiteful for some reason. Not the Cochran I "know". His voting speech seemed a little mean. |

I'm sure the natural food is a part, but the main reason is she's cut down on the food consumption. Television puts on about 10 pounds. She's gotten leaner, she looks better. (btw, she wasn't too heavy to begin with, it's just what tv cameras do to people) |

That is a part of him, we can forget about it or separate it, when we watch this season but I bet he can not. Now, we have seen interviews with Malcolm where he made jabs at Cochran about that first idol being the only time he would win an idol so he'll "give it to him" and so on. I kind of wonder if maybe Malcolm showed some of that attitude to Cochran but we just don't see it on the show. Or I wonder if in a way he views Malcolm as this seasons Ozzie and this was the ultimate retribution. Just some thoughts. Loving this season though. Agree that Malcolm made his move too soon - easy to say now |

I would not call rice, beans and brown water natural foods. A lack of processed foods may help but i am sure they are missing many nutrients without fresh fruit and veggies in their diet.
I think it is the weight loss and a glow from the sun. |

I think it's everything. It's her face that has become more gorgeous. Maybe her eyebrows aren't being plucked/waxes and that makes her look better IMO.
