Welp. We're supposed to be in for 80-100mph winds. Yet it's still hot and sunny out.

And the derecho (the storm type's name) should be bringing crazy hot weather behind it.

The winds are supposed to hit here around 10-11pm, I think.

cool, local scientists and weather "professionals" here are trying to figure out a singular bright spot in the sky. They just sent a press release that they think the bright spot and warm temps are connected. Guess that is what happens when it has been cold and cloudy for so long.

hehehe... it's been unseasonably cool here, too.  I'm more than welcoming the impending scorching heat.

Yeah, but misters work like mad there in Tuson.

Not Mr. Plural, the things that spray mist and as it evaporates, it cools the air significantly...

Phylo is tricky to work with. You need to keep it moist; usually you have to quickly brush each layer with butter and work quickly.

M- So is Pisa confirmed ? If you have the time I highly recommend exploring the Cinque Terre region. Its real close to Pisa. Great food, wine, scenery, walks. You won't want to leave.
