So I pick up the baby from daycare about everyday and we get home. I had to pee so I go in the br and shut the door. Of course 5 seconds later I got a little girl banging on the door "Daddy?" (I am sure KK knows about that, kids and lack on alone time). So I yell back "Daddy go pee-pee", since we are in the middle of potty training her. Now she is talking through the space between the floor and the door. I hear this "Daddy pee-pee, yeah daddy pee-pee good job" While clapping her hands. Always nice to get encouragement from your kids. |

Hope she heals well. bzgl40 - 2010-04-13 10:07 PM So I was in a funk today and decided to blow off my scheduled ride and got some friends to go mountain biking with me. We were so close to finishing and one of my friends took a major wipe out and landed on her elbow. Then she went to emergancy. Morale of the story is, HTFU and do your schedule or someone will get hurt |

Sorry you have to deal with an idiot parent. roadrhino - 2010-04-14 9:53 AM No kidding...it was funny to see Nik come up to the office because I am not the calm one in matters like this...and when she saw the parent following me, Nik knew it was probably best to diffuse what might have happened. It's nice to have the pool's support too, but I'm wondering if this is going to make for a long year of training there and butting heads. I hope not because I don't want to have to find another facility. Nik & Tiff ~ I am glad the pool mgr & director supported y'all... stupid a*s parents! Sorry ya whacked the kid and not the parent! |

Veteran 104![]() | Subject: RE: Evondo's Group - CLOSED!I just saw an article recently that suggested that deaths occur much more frequently in triathlon than in marathon. However, the vast majority of triathlon deaths are drownings. So yeah, get through the swim and you're GOLDEN. ![]() There's a funny post in the Branson 70.3 forum where some guy asks which wheels to use on the hilly bike course. Another person responds that he actually chose that event because it should be a challenging course, with a hilly bike. A third person responds, in total seriousness, that it shouldn't be too bad, because "the swim and run are flat." Maybe it's those hilly swims that get people in trouble. Or maybe just post race malaise? My Dad came into town which gave me a great excuse not to do anything. The plan is a little jog today while the girls are at the Y and see how everything feels. Anybody racing this weekend??? I know there is going to be a lot of action next weekend but wasn't sure about this weekend. |

Veteran 104![]() | Subject: RE: Evondo's Group - CLOSED!My weekend will be mostly focused on finding an apartment, as my wife and I will be homeless in two weeks. I shouldn't complain, as we sold our house for full price with no concessions, but we did not expect it to sell in two days. We were left with our heads spinning over the fact that the buyers wanted to close so quickly and we had not yet found a house we wanted to buy. Also going to try to get a long ride in tomorrow, and one last(?) day of snowboarding in on Sunday. Best of luck to everyone with a race this weekend! |
