Extreme Veteran 521![]() | Subject: RE: Evondo's Group - CLOSED!Definitely no smack talk from me...I've been spending too much time wondering if I've even done enought training on the bike to have a decent race this weekend. Nervous about my nutrition, too, because my last 2 long rides didn't happen. Hoping my body will tolerate living off the course. Although I did have a dream last night where I did get my finisher's medal (and a picture with a strange family I had never met), and that made me wake up with a smile on my face. ![]() |

I need an early season HIM and have friends near by that I can stay at. Of course I am going to try and make it through my two in 2010 first. |

Triathlete Nation ~ Texas! | Subject: RE: Evondo's Group - CLOSED!First of all Tiffany (and Nikki)... y'all are gonna be golden! You have put in some great sessions building towards this weekend and you will find that it will all fall into place! Go out and have some fun! BTW, I don't trash talk the ladies... except Nicole! She deserves a good smack...... talk every now and again! *smack!* who's yer daddy! HAHAHA! Woooo Hoooo! Bring on the outta-towners! That would be very cool to have y'all join us. I will say that I will not be doing the 70.3 next year... too early in the season, but I think the Oly would be a good race. It really depends on whether or not the Woodlands IM actually comes to fruition. I am going back to the 140.6 distance in 2011.... it's just up in the air as to which one IMFL or IM Woodlands! |

Seriously though, I'm REALLY excited to see everyone's race report after the weekend. I'm having a little tri-envy right now. As for me in 2011, anything is possible, including a trip to TX for a triathlon. Trin2bfast - 2010-04-20 2:57 PM First of all Tiffany (and Nikki)... y'all are gonna be golden! Payson, AZ | Subject: RE: Evondo's Group - CLOSED!Had ART again today. Probably the best the leg has felt post session. I have the race this weekend and have another session next week and I am hoping that I move more into a maintenance mode after that. I think I can run the 13 miles hard though with no leg pain. Course that remaining .1 will probably hurt. |

I did it for 2 months then had some funky wrist nerve injury not from it. Keep running, bought a bike learned how to swim then, well you know. I would show you before and after pics but dont want all the finger pointing and laughter. Anyways please let me know how you feel after Plyo day#2. Nicole83 - 2010-04-20 12:08 PM It is quiet in here lately... we're getting so close to the big race this weekend I thought that we would be drowning in smack talk by now. As of today I am officially released to go back to any activity that I did prior surgery. That means sex. Oh, and weight lifting is back on the schedule too. This is sort of a re-post from my TL, but husband has decided that he wants to do P90x and ordered all the stuff this past weekend. We should have it by Friday and he wants to get going this weekend. I think I'm going to do it with him #1 for support and #2 because I am the suck at strength training, so anything that makes me do more of it is a good thing. That said, it's a safe bet that I'm going to start doing a.m. swim/bike/run workouts to ensure that I'm getting some tri training in. Because my goal is to do a few races near the end of the season. FL is actually chock full of Tri's in the October/November time frame, so I'm going to get back in shape to do a few by then for sure. Edited by Newtons1st 2010-04-20 3:14 PM |

LOL I ALWAYS have dreams about upcoming races, and mine usually involve me gettnig stuck in either T1 or T2. If it is a wetsuit legal race I usually can't get the wetsuit off, or I end up trying to bike with it on. I also watched a bunch of friends race IMmoo (IM Wisconsin) one year and afterwards had dreams that I coudln't cycle up the corkscrew in the parking garage where they have transition. I could never do that race because that would cause me such extreme anxiety. Yep, headcase. Emmanem - 2010-04-20 5:51 PM Good to see I'm not the only one having dreams about upcoming tris. I'm trying to explain to them that I was SUPPOSED to be part of a relay and I'm not supposed to run today but they are all looking at me like I'm crazy so I put on my shoes and run.
