Who's in?  Are the Brothers Grimm in for popping their OW cherries?  AND one of them needs to pay dues.....except for Adam.  Adam can't pay dues until Sept.  But Cody or Rob can totally cough up some suds!!!

I just got my new wetsuit. Would I overheat if I tried it out there?

Also, do you guys buy the $6 parking pass every time you go out there?

Yes...it is WAY too hot for a wetsuit.  If you wanted to go up to Canyon lake some morning, that might be better.  If you want a little added floatation without the wet suit, just swim with your pull buoy.  (That's what I do).

No.  Rangers usually swing through there before 5 when they get off, so none of us buy one.  Some have yearly passes, but I have never bought one for a Thursday night.  If you DO get a ticket...you pay the $6 ticket by buying a parking pass and mailing it into them. No biggie.

Ok, cool. I was out there on Sunday because I was riding at a motocross track near fountain hills, so I stopped by BJC and did my first OWS. I just swam to the no wake buoy and back. Since I was only going to be there for less than 30 minutes I didn't buy a pass. The park ranger was driving by my van real slow just as I was going to leave. I thought I was busted. LOL

I didn't want the wetsuit for floation, I just wanted to try it out.

So who is coming out? I MAY bring baked goods....so I need a count.  So far I have for NOT coming: Jen and Josh, Travis, Jerry

Swimming: Tanya, Lisa, Daniel (the Australian dude who was looking for a lap pool), Paulette to run, Ryan? WHO ELSE???

Sitting on the fencers: The Brothers Grimm? Jot? Rick? Hawaii? Milky-Milkerson?  WHO will represent I ask you? WHO?

I'll be there! Been a while, so you'll probably have to give me directions

Sandy is planning on it as well, so we'll have a kayaker.

Yay! I am glad Sandy will be out there for all the n00bs!! OH....and it will be nice to see you too Chris! Hahaha!

If none of the Bros come toting beer, I will have to bring some.  I promised the Australian guy we would have some.  I think that is the only reason he is coming. Hahhah!

It will be my first time to swim with the group, so I probably should bring some beer. I will bring "healthy" beer. LOL Has anyone else tried the new Miller 64?
