Morning. I am down 0.6 pounds. Not much but a teeny tiny step in the right direction.

Morning everyone - had a pretty good weekend but yesterday was my b-day celebrations so there was some sugar taken in as well.

This is the week I make progress!

BTW - that egg concoction is very tasty just not very filling - need to find something with some fats to add to it.  I even started adding peaches and apples as well - yummy!

Happy belated birthdaY!!!

I keep hoping that the Monday weigh-in will force me to be better behaved on the weekends (my own preference is a Friday morning weigh-in, after I've had the work week to be good), but it hasn't really panned out that way.

I'm marathon training and my long runs on Saturday make me EAT the rest of the weekend.  And not train much afterwards, either.

Food is set for the week again -- all sorts of fresh vegetables and fruits to snack on.  It really is the weekend when I do all my damage.

And congrats to everyone who lost!  I think I might be down a touch since last week, but that's about it...

Well it's Monday again. I am tired from my bike yesterday but not too sore. Except my left knee is barking a bit and my right elbow from the weed whacker. I will do my measurements in a bit after I wake up some.

My weight: 215.2 (-2.2 lbs) and my BF% is 34.6 % (-1.5) I have been trying to eat better and keeping track helps but I need to increase the calories some and not from carbs. I am getting enough of them. Hope to do better this week and my race is next Sun.

Measurements: R arm:13 1/8  L arm:12 3/4  Chest: 40 3/4 Waist: 40 3/4  Hip: 46  R Thigh: 23 3/4  L Thigh: 26  Total inches: Lost 3 5/8
So far so good. I hope everyone has a really stellar week

Congrats on the losses everyone and happy belated birthday Bill!

I had Korean food last night = soy sauce = water retention.  Plus feel swollen from the weekend's training so I'll measure and post tomorrow morning.  Thinking it's a maintenance week for me...

Hi all -

Is it too late to join this group? It's now off season and I would love to focus on whittling off some of this flub. I don't have calipers but do have one of those body fat % scale things, bought it after reading Matt Fitzgerald's book.

I am down .6 from last week but still up .2 from where I started. I was sooo thirsty last night I drank a ton in the couple hours before bed, it is my monthly "not nice week" for being a lady so I will take it. While I might be up yet because of those things I think it will keep me in check for hopefully my first lost next week.

BEST NEWS - Hubby has been a typically not long term diet person - HCG, atkins, etc (they might be long term for some but not for him).

He asked me to sign us up for Weight Watchers on Saturday so I did. For the price - that is one big, not healthy meal out for us and in return we get 3 months on WW. We are still new to it, today is the first day of "counting points" but he is already changing behaviors. Mr. I have to drag my butt to exercise stated he wanted to at least walk 2 miles tonight so that is good. He cut down his "bad things" that he fit in his points today so he could have 1 beer tonight - instead of going over and just moving forward. His comment - I don't need to slather on the butter and sour cream on a baked potato. 1T of each will be fine for now. I just need a little bit.

So I am hoping this is a start of being healthier - him and I in our household. If I expect him to stick to the eating healthy wagon so can I. I did the grocery shopping this morning and no chocolate and no ice cream came home with me - which is good since I usually bring them home and 2 days later (max) they are gone.

Ok - enough rambling. Just hopeful this will make hubby and I in return more healthy.

Overall the challenge i am up 1 . I had some off days in terms of nutrition and also days off training due to going to bed late and not making 1-2 hours available before work in the morning to get a run or bike session in . I did have a small dental issue that took out one morning .
Biggest weight loss of the week was after my long sunday run
: 5lbs , I drank 32 oz during and after the run before measuring the post run weight. I had weighted in just before heading out . I figured most of that is water loss(sweat)
Set back weight wise but I am Happy to report two Season PRs at races thursday and saturday.
Next weeks results start today.

Nice job guys! I think I did great last week. I really dont care if I lost a lot of weight bec I ate very well and feel good. I dont have a scale at home, I use the one at the gym and I wont be there swimming on Mondays now that I am teaching again, so I'll have to be a Tuesday weigher. Hope that's OK

Great job peeps! Weighed in today at 155.6 which was the same as last week. I'm happy that it wasnt above. I ate pretty well but had alcohol at least once wed-sat. So this week my goal is no alcohol besides work party fri night.  And also to figure out a better sleeping pattern. 4-5 hours a night sucks!

Also got in touch w/ a nutritionist yesterday. Made a basic plan to follow when i'm not training hard so we'll see how it goes....
