akustix - 2012-09-10 8:53 AM Good to see TAN never changes...

How's it going preacher man?

It's a little hectic around here... school year just started and two weeks before everything kicked off, my administrator left (found a new job which is good because with our financial situation, she was about to get let go)... the computer crashed so I spent several weeks doing IT stuff because we needed our financial software up and running and then I had to dig around in the old computer to get data that the admin hadn't backed up (she did docs ok, but not the data files for our fundraising software)... several student activity fairs and sundry other meetings and all later, the school year is moving. I am about two weeks away from closing on a new house... getting things together for some work that needs to be done on house.

all in all things are good... just a little hectic.

What's going on with you?

The boys are good?

Same old poop here. Just liven' the life.

OH and BTW I searched your friends list for God but he's not your friend.

I made an origami dragon!  And it actually LOOKS like a dragon as opposed to all the broken rhinos I made that were supposed to be cranes.

For my next impressive feat, I'm going to ride George on the trainer so that I can still be close to the bathroom in case I need to make a sudden run for it.

Go easy. Hydrate lots. You're sick and likely need water and electrolytes.

No....plants need electolytes. It's what the plants crave.

It will be an easy spin the legs type of ride, with lots of hydrating... and close proximity to the bathroom.  Win-win!

Your dragon is wonderful!!!  Get you some real, and colorful, origami paper and you can start decorating the whole house with dragons.  Send them to work with Tony.  Give them out to people on the street.  You can be the Crazy Dragon Lady of Chicago!

Thank you!  I shall make a special trip to see if I can find colourful origami paper to make more wonderful creations... The Crazy Dragon Lady has arrived!

And now I'm out for an hour and a half to see how this whole trainer ride will go.  Fingers crossed everything stays clenched.

Do you have establishments in your area who, instead of using a top- or bottom-of-the-hour opening/closing times, use something totally obscure? For example, a grocery store has hours of 7:56 a.m. - 5:53 p.m. or whatever. I have no idea because I CAN'T REMEMBER ALL THOSE NUMBERS! A local church service starts at 5:32 p.m. (again, it could be 6:32 or 6:03 I have no idea).

I think the idea is to have something so different it's memorable, but it has the opposite effect on me.

I play games with the robo refill system at CVS saying I'll pick up my prescriptions at random times such as 1:06AM. I wonder what their schedule looks like with me hanging out there.

Yeah... well with Pitt's football performance, you really have nothing better to do right now...

So my campus ministry along with another campus ministry group has begun hosting a monthly coffeehouse... their campus pastor knows a number of musicians, and we have a great building with a good location...

One upside for me... the other group which has the espresso machine has left it at our building... so I get to make lattes whenever I fricking want to...

oh yeah.

I know. Impossible to remember the time service starts. That's why I don't go to church. Well, that and the fact that I am Jewish.
