Can you procure some treats from the grocery area? Mini marshmallows sound good. Get those!
You mean like when I used to work at a grocery store....I mean....when I KNEW a guy that worked at a grocery store......and would "accidently" cut open packages of chips and cookies when stocking, then damage it out and then eat it?

at least you damaged them out first...

I think the funniest thing are the ticket switchers!  No, that Dyson vacuum is not $19.99...

This leather jacket was in the clearnace rack marked $9.99 and below.

And I also have a coupon for 50% off

I'd also like this Dark Knight Blu-Ray DVD....it was in the $5 pile. There was only one in there.

Matters what the price on the item says. If it's their sticker and hasn't been tampered with they have to see it at the sticker price in CA.

everything is now a barcode unless it is a clearance item or something, so a sticker is a red flag!

CORD!!!

Sorry I didn't think of this earlier.  I get overwhelmed with planning for vacations.  I'm in Laguna from Sunday to Friday or something like that.  So we should be able to find some time to get some drinks.  The skating rink perhaps since it's the holidays?  I can get Tala to go to.

I have a secret santa gift to get someone that doesn't work in the office.  I never saw him drink booze or coffee, he's older so I don't know of any hobbies...

I guess he's getting a Starbucks card.  He can give it to his wife (if he's married) or re-gift if he's not a coffee drinker.

Any other ideas?

Just about EVERYONE is a wine drinker to some extent, no?  I could get a $20 bottle of red.

jford2309 - 2012-12-19 9:56 AMor my personal #1 favorite: I bought this item and when I got home, it wasn't in the box.
But that has happened to me!! Of course it was only $1.25 pair of rubber gloves. But still!

I am talking about iPads and such.

more cooking requests - i need to bring an appetizer to a party tomorrow.  something not-too fancy, these are non-foodie southern evangelical church type folks.

then again, i might just SKIP the party based on the guest list...hmmm

Mac and cheese. Boxed.

snerk.  i'm thinking maybe cocktail weenees in crescent rolls??  i've never made them, are they a lot of work?

When you said non foodie I thought. ....trailer park palette ...like mine and that would work for me!!

i just didn't want pitt coming on here being like "gorgonzola stuffed button mushrooms with port wine demi glace" or something.  these people are southeners, they don't do veggies.

Wiener crescent rolls are ridiculously easy. Just use 1/2 crescent roll dough (take a knife down the middle) per cocktail weenie. So easy peasy.

they will eat the crap out of anything deep fried or covered in cheese and/or ranch.  surprisingly they aren't all fat, but none of them are actually healthy either.

Hi TAN.

Last time I tried Sweet Tea, I felt like I was mainlining maple syrup (again - don't judge me).

I liked it, a lot, but it was just too sweet for me to ever have more than one glass at a time.

Agreed!  Unfortunately I only get to have it on the trips to Dallas every other month for work.  They don't make it out here in the Republik of CA

Good morning everyone!

Hi TJ

Hi cord. Is there a perfect way to do it? I've just not been wowed by the ones I've tried.

go to chickfila, as long as you don't mind being perceived as a gay-hater.  theirs is pretty dang good.

if you want to brew it yourself, you have to make a simple syrup and brew the tea in that.

Just a pop-in. I'm traveling home today. I had some sweet tea from a chicken place here in the AtL airport.

Guy across from me has a Tshirt that says BOOYAH! On it. Kinda funny.
