Master 1791 Raleigh, North Carolina | Subject: RE: updated progress for Goddesses (and titillation) of spanking I knew there was some reason this thread was calling me in here. Hope y'all can keep up. With Bear's beer incentives you stand only a slim chance of winning at this point. Though....titillation and spanking may be interesting.....nothing beats a nice cold brew after a long month of cycling. |

Elite Veteran 1817 Cedar Rapids, Iowa | Subject: RE: updated progress for Goddesses Morning Goddesses! Update - I am now at 298.61/250 or 119.44% of goal. I hate the thought of getting "bumped" off of the final tally, but the disappointment will be minor if there is someone right on my tail to take my place and keep our average high. I am going to end up probably somewhere around 450 for the month - 180% of goal. Who is going to step up to cover me? Come on Goddesses, I need a wing woman! |

Buttercup 14334 | Subject: RE: updated progress for Goddesses What kind of a man prefers beer over a spanking administered by a woman? Actually... upon further consideration, I can see where the man would short-out trying to choose. Beer! No, spanking. Beer! No, spanking. Beer!... Tania, that is great news about your mileage. Maybe you could inspire some of the ladies below the 70% point? |

I have a 3.5 hour ride tomorrow so I will go over my goal then and I have a 5 hour ride planned for July 2, that I could just possibly be persuaded to move to Thursday . . . in fact, I think that's a great plan! |

Veteran 112 Minnesota | Subject: RE: Team Gear Goddesses Oh, and by the way Goddessess (and Goddesses only) don't forget the power of EBC -- EVERY BIT COUNTS! Ride your bike to the park with your kids . . . if you don't have kids, borrow your neighbors, heck, come up to steamy MN and borrow mine. They'll give you a great workout! And on that weather note, I, little miss cold blooded, went out for a 24.85 mile ride in 93 degrees, winds at 17mph and 46% humidity. Breeze was nice, but a killer to ride into especially since it was a cross breeze so I rarely got the benefit of a little push. I was only going to do 20, but the thougt of stomping on those boys kept me going! Edited by lingphd 2005-06-23 11:43 AM |

Expert 997 North Central WV | Subject: RE: Team Gear Goddesses Girls, you are rallying together well on this one. I am currently on 278 miles. I will do a short ride tonight (maybe 10 miles) and my 56 mile ride on race day (Sunday) which will take me to 344. My goal is 350. I will ride every day after my race to get above my goal. We will do this. Mal |

T1 | Subject: RE: Team Gear Goddesses I was planning on being 125%, but I will step up some more. I added 12 extra yesterday, and will throw in 24 more...This will bring me to 423/308 instead of 387/308. That is 137% instead of 125%. Good enough??? I hope so! I rode 12 last night after getting 2 hours of sleep, breaking up with my boyfriend, and in the rain and wind! Edited by vmr719 2005-06-23 12:31 PM |

Dang, you're hoss. I woulda called that a rest day! I rode 10 work and will ride 10 back this afternoon. So I'll be sitting at about 80%. After my race this weekend I'll have 13 miles left. No sweat. I'll get well over 100%. |

I don't want to ride in the rain today because I don't really want to do all the bike maintenance I'm supposed to after that.... |

Thank you everyone for great support. I know 50 miles ain't much, for me it is a fantastic step in the right direction. Like the swim challenge, the feeling of consistency in training is having such an amazing positive influence on me. GO GODDESSES |

Elite 2553 Tucson, AZ | Subject: RE: Team Gear Goddesses Ok, the boners must be over there rain dancing or something. Got caught in a huge monsoon downpour during my ride after work this evening. But I finished up the ride for another 15 miles, so I'm at 85% of my goal. Those boneheads are going to have to try harder than that! |

I'm at 93% now, racing Sunday, and every weekday next week I will have exactly 1 1/2 hours to myself...2 1/2 if my older kids will walk to school (they usually will). I hope to ride on Mon, Tue and Thurs (Gotta run sometime, y'know...) |
