Champion 5522 Frisco, TX | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge Hey Hugs - sorry to have been out of contact the last few days, got to feeling under the weather - no really sick-sick, but no energy - like swim 900 yds then stand up and walk out of the pool cause you can't go on - no energy... Got a run in finally again on Wed and then a swim yesterday. Going to go run at lunch today. I am going to have to hustle to hit my love goal now! |

Expert 1246 West Grove, PA | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge Today was my first time back at the gym in a bunch of days. It was an ugly, slow treadmill run. I went in with the intent of running 5-6 miles. Got to 30 min and had to call it quits. Made myself walk for another 5 minutes. Still not feeling like "myself". I'll take it easy tomorrow and try to get back on the treadmill Sunday. Not a happy camper right now considering I have a half marathon staring me in the face in just over a month. On a side note, we now have 3 1/2 feet of snow/ice sitting on the ground. Last 2 days, everything was shut down... schools, work, life, etc. And now we're looking at another storm on Mon/Tues. The nice weather lady said this next storm won't produce and blizzards and our snow totals "SHOULD REMAIN UNDER A FOOT". Are you freaaaaaaking kidding me!!!Considering Monday is a holiday, I wonder if our kids will EVER go to school EVER AGAIN!!!! |

Elite 3460 Slackerville, USA | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge I'm jealous of all the snow you guys are getting back east although it might drive me crazy to be stuck in the house for days on end. We're looking at brown grass and warm weather in Utah when we should still be under about a foot of snow and freezing. It's going to be a long dry summer. I hope my yard can handle the drought we're going to have. It's nice for training though. |

Expert 1358 Albuquerque, New Mexico | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge Hi all, just checking in. I would like to post more, but every time I sit down to try, something comes up! Darn kids always wanting to be fed and taken care of. haha. I knocked out a few more miles today...and as is traditional, got a root canal after my run. I am going to take a break from dentistry for a while to concentrate on training. Ugh. I was thinking about NurseJennie today on my run as the snow where people haven't shoveled is just like running in sand. Except there's ice beneath it. And there's no beach. And it's not warm. But other than that, it's just like running at the beach. A very cold beach. With gangsters. haha, I crack myself up. Hope all the sickies/injured reserve recover soon... regards, Q |

I think there are like 5 trees between Fargo and the Arctic circle.... I don't miss those winters!kimk - 2010-02-12 9:08 AM ebshot - 2010-02-12 8:37 AM *yawn* Anyone want to run for me today? No? Shoot, I guess I better get going then. Only 3 on the schedule today. I think I'll run my hilly, yet pretty, route. See ya in a bit! can you run a few more for me? I am sooooo tired today, no motivation, dare I say I need a taser? But it's FRIDAY! There's got to be some motivation in that. We'll take whatever consolation we can get here in the frozen tundra. Wasn't it great to see the sun yesterday in the northern midwest? |

Master 2146 East Side of the Bay | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge I heard a fun story on NPR tonight. It seems there is a guy trying to confirm there is snow in all 50 states today. Hawaii recently had snow on the big island on the highest mountain and it's snowing in FL, AL, GA, SC & NC today. Pretty amazing. He is collecting a photo from every state and plans to post it on Google Earth.....would make a fun screen saver! |

No knee problems while swimming. Had to concentrate and make sure I was pushing off with only my right leg against the wall. 30 min EASY spin this morning. Low RPMs, low resistance. No pain in the knee, just a little 'burning.' I can walk up and down stairs now. I'm glad you can still participate in the challenge. Take care of that knee! Thanks! Love the avatar! Happy Saturday everyone. I think I might get a few miles of WALKING on the treadmill today. Knee not at 100% yet, plus it's snowing outside as we speak. Good day to stay in and do home projects (new tile in the bathroom). |

I don't think I'm going to visit you ever. |

Long trainer ride or spin class for tomorrow! What are all you other HUGS up to this weekend? I had the worse day I have had in a long time. My patience is gone with Cole and I reached my breaking point this afternoon. Once the floodgates opened, I had a hard time reeling it back in. Real bad part was it all happened at my niece's birthday party. But, on a positive note, I got new running shoes! Trying them out on an 11 mile run tomorrow. Hope everyone else is having a better weekend than I am. |

Or maybe you need a few Cole-free hours tomorrow? |
