Within the hour I received a personalized email back stating that we would look into the matter. I followed up yesterday and he was in Europe but promised he had not forgotten. I'd suggest sending it back with a note. If anyone else wants to write Andrew Messick to express your opinion, his email is [email protected] Will keep you updated.
I sent an email also! Thanks TriRSquared for the info! |

The stickers are there to stay uhghhh |

My other race pages are so boring. I miss you guys. I was thinking the same thing I don't know where to go on BT anymore! Ha. Yea, only about 5 IM pages have traffic. The others get bumped by the same people. My IMSG thread is DEAD. I'm almost done with my 4 week reverse taper and I've lost a crap load of endurance. Got owned yesterday by way too many people on my hill run. The journey back to peak endurance starts next week. Godspeed. Edited by 3Aims 2011-07-22 2:12 PM |

Expert 839 Portland, OR | Subject: RE: Ironman Coeur d'Alene : Official Thread I agree with you Sarah! Now that the race is over it's like every time I go to my training log! Here's hoping next year's racers will take a note from us and some of the threads will get more active. It really does make a difference Miss you all - hope your recovery is going well. I'm taking the HB show on the road as I started my world tour on Monday (9 countries, 3 continents, 4 provinces and 5 states in 8 weeks). I'll check back in on everyone's logs in late Sept! |

Extreme Veteran 833 Strong Beach, CA | Subject: RE: Ironman Coeur d'Alene : Official Thread So bummed. After fully expecting my jacket to be waiting for me when I got home from vacation yesterday, it wasnt here. Emailed them this morning and was told they were still processing 150 jacket orders and mine was one of them. I decided to save someone some iron-on time in the warehouse and cancelled my order. Time to hit up REI for a nice North Face softshell and kit up my local embroiderer.
Anybody know where I can get a high res version of the event logo? |

I got my jacket in the mail and it seemed smaller than the one I tried on. Wasn't sure if it was just me. I'll probably keep it though. If anyone has any of the cda hats they sold I'd be Interested. Still waiting for them to post the rest of the merchandise. With my first ironman I'm a bit of a IM buyer. |

I get it on FIOS and OTA HD via my antenna. My question is how can I record this show in HD on my computer? Better yet, do any of you have that ability? |

Anybody know where I can get a high res version of the event logo? If you come up with a cool design let us ride your coat tail. I had to fly out Monday and missed the ability to sign up for a jacket. |

Let me ask. Okay, per my hubby (the tech guy in the house), you need a tuner set up on your computer. With either an HD antenna or hook it up to your cable. Then you can set it up to record through MS Media Center. |

If it's under an hour, I'll record and send it to all of you for FREE. The only payment I request is good juju vibes sent to me in Arizona in November. Crazy good deal, huh. If the broadcast is over an hour, hubby will have to figure something else out. We'll work on it. |

Member 319 Seattle, WA | Subject: RE: Ironman Coeur d'Alene : Official Thread I have it set to record on my DVR, and I think it's going to be one hour with commercials. I'm really looking forward to watching it! My jacket came in about a week ago. I was so bummed that I didn't even open the box until this weekend. Strangely enough, mine looks different than the picture posted here. It just says IRONMAN in reflective silver on the back, and has the crappy logo on the right chest with the word FINISHER underneath. M-dot in reflective silver embroidered on the left chest. Very strange. I'm guessing they are reacting to initial feedback about the jackets and changing the later orders to reflect that? It's still a crappy sticker on the front though. |
