Hi all! Happy Sunday...well to tell the truth I went to a formal gala last night with hubby and drank a little too much Pint Noir! Will caffeinate myself and then suffer through my long run. Wish me luck, I'll need it.

Ugh!! What a hard slog. Rolling hills and a headwind when you are hung over is NOT so pretty. But 12k done for my peach!

it's windy and COLD out there.... trying to work myself up to a walk/jog before the day is out - a few errands to do, then we're having people over, but hopefully I can squeeze one in!

Very impressive.  I don't drink any more (and don't miss it!) but when I used to there was no way I could run 12K with a hangover.  Kudos to you.

I ran 10k this morning and topped it off with a 25 min dog walk.  Awesome weather (50 degrees and not a cloud in the sky) and the color of the trees are peaking here in the ATL.

Sorry folks...absolutely beautiful day here today..it's late Spring. I tried to pretend that my sore throat was gone today and went for an easy 30 run/walk. It turned into 40 minutes and I felt like I could go on forever. But somewhere buried deep, deep, deeeep inside must be a wise person and I turned around and came home. I enjoyed myself enormously...what sore throat?

Abbie...did you know in your log that under sports "race volunteering" counts. Add that to your log today to count towards 'peach minutes'.

Sounds like a lot of very peachy (in every sense of the word) Sundays were had by the team today. Got a short swim in before the pool closed, had a lane to myself most of the time, must have been peach luck

There is a link on page 11 of the thread that you can copy and paste into your training log for easy access. Great job on your peachy minutes!

It always sounded like a better idea the night before huh? I have run my share of races after a long night and that first mile or so is pretty rough, congrats on getting it done though.

I absolutely love  trail running and especially races. Just something cool about not seeing where you are going all the time and the constant change in terrain. Good job today.
