Morning team

I just did my daily run for the morning, I might get some riding done tonight if the diner doesn't come with wine

Rest day today.  Got lots of little errands to do so it just means no work outs...not real rest like lay on the couch all day. 

YES, I am running tomorrow.  13.1, hopefully my friend from swim class and I will spot each other to pace each other.

Bummer on the "real" rest.  Glad to hear you are racing tomorrow.  Have fun!  I hope everything holds up

Good morning, all!

Rainy day here... kinda makes me wanna go back to bed.  I have an hour of Zone 2 slogging and some ST on tap for today, though, so I'll head out shortly and git'r'done.

This weekend I'm getting a new certification (ummmm... assuming I can pass the test)which means I'll be working out repeatedly for the better part of two days.

Did 20 minutes elliptical and 15 minutes strength... 5th workout for the week. Today is rest day and tomorrow and Sunday will be hiking days and I also want to squeeze in a swim before taking off for the weekend.... Who knows if we are hiking after all, the weather forecast doesn't look too good.

I think so too... But I am sure that Travis is dropping in one of these days to let us know.

I hate getting my eyes checked.

The dilating drops take forever to wear off and I feel like I can't see for the glare (with no lights on).'  How am I supposed to go to the grocery store if I can't see?

I'm 4/5 with a workout planned tomorrow to get my points in. I've been inching back into the training so I'm kinda eeking out the bare minimum which is frustrating. I have to have some patience...I know.

And, we got snow last night to remind us that winter is really here. Not really cold yet...but those -30 days will come. Ick. I grew up here but have become a wimp in my old age...lol.

I will be offline for the rest of the weekend on a hiking trip.... Just hoping that the weather is going to cooperate.

I'm back.  First mile my hip flexors were unhappy with me.

 They got settled into a groove  and didn't talk much until towards the end.  calves cramped up around mile 10....enormous blister on the instep of my right foot. 

Met up with a couple BT'ers....Ran the whole race with a BT'er named Dan. He pulled me by the hand from mile 11 or so.  Never did find my friend from swim class.

I think it's the same time as my April half mary or pretty close.  I'm consisent if nothing else.

Ran for a bit this morning then went for a ride since the weather was nice. Each time I can ride outside I wonder if this will be my last, damn I will miss that.
