I found a little tree frog along the way.  I gave him a thorough lecture on the risks of sitting in a pile of snow in the middle of a trail frequented by dogs and then escorted him a mile down the mountain to an area that was a bit more suitable.

If you are interested there are some fun photos in my album.

Hi Knockers ... I seem to be knocked out by the same plague that has swept through some of our other Knockers, so it's just as well I was ahead on the challenge since it looks like no training for me this week. I'm just wiped out.

Unfortunately I pledged running minutes, so they wouldn't count. Although since I do run/walk, a brisk walk might count. The way things are going it might need to!

I'm coming down with my partner's cold. Hopefully I'll be able to run tomorrow and then take it easy until Sunday or Monday to stay on track with my running goal.

Ok, I have some catching up to do...I don't think I'm past page 14 on here...but I'll have to do that later.  In the meantime, can someone please answer a question for me ~ why doesn't anyone use the #6 on here.  I always see that one left blank in everyone's lists. ???

It's because Mila says there's no #6. I was recently known to have a sixth good day in a row, though ... there are exceptions.

Dang.. and I never even noticed the lack of 6.

If there is no 6...how can we have 6th sense? What is the name of the famous route missing BOTH its 6's? If there is no 6 what does the 9 do all by itself?

The questions are numerous, profound and disturbing...

What is a knocker to do?

Why no #6? It comes from a Monty Python sketch:

In one program a short sketch was performed in which an Englishman was introduced to his new
professorial colleagues in the Philosophy Department at the 'University of Wollomoloo' in Australia. At one point the departmental rules were read to the group, including "Rule Six:
There is NO rule Six!". It's the same sketch that gave us the "Bruce's Philosophers Song ".

That explains a lot. I actually remember some of these scethces from WAY BACK using the non-dead brain cells. I am still worried about the lonely number 9.

LOL No Rule 6

Crazy story- My husband had me get a gift for his Secret Santa at work while he's outta town. So I did and put it in a nice gift bag all nice. The gift included chocolate. I set it down on the floor in the living room and went into the other room. Came back and the dog had knocked over the bag, gotten the chocolate box out, bit off the top, unwrapped one, and ate it. Crazy dog. She seems ok so far. Guess the dog like peppermint chocolates

December Pick-A-Challenge UPDATE!

So how are we doing? Well, here's what you've been waiting for, THE CURRENT TEAM STANDINGS

1st place: Random Taser Me Elmo Cat Stalkers - 54.24%
2nd place: Hot Toddies - 42.18%
3rd place: Holiday Knockers - 39.85%

But December isn't over yet! AND it's actually much closer than it appears, since the RTMECS team's high average is pretty much due to a single overachiever!

It's December 18th now -- and don't forget all those upcoming holidays and gym closings! Hurry, hurry hurry -- and get those workouts in!
