Off to enjoy the night with the fam. Long trainer ride or spin class for tomorrow! What are all you other HUGS up to this weekend? I had the worse day I have had in a long time. My patience is gone with Cole and I reached my breaking point this afternoon. Once the floodgates opened, I had a hard time reeling it back in. Real bad part was it all happened at my niece's birthday party. But, on a positive note, I got new running shoes! Trying them out on an 11 mile run tomorrow. Hope everyone else is having a better weekend than I am. Sorry to hear today was so craptastic. I hope tomorrow goes a lot better! Maybe after a good night's sleep for everyone... |

Shoot, I guess I better get going then. Only 3 on the schedule today. I think I'll run my hilly, yet pretty, route. See ya in a bit! can you run a few more for me? I am sooooo tired today, no motivation, dare I say I need a taser? But it's FRIDAY! There's got to be some motivation in that. We'll take whatever consolation we can get here in the frozen tundra. Wasn't it great to see the sun yesterday in the northern midwest? Spent Friday cleaning....and missed the sun on Thursday...but just did an indoor tri and feel great now!....and the sun is out! |

It seems there is a guy trying to confirm there is snow in all 50 states today. Hawaii recently had snow on the big island on the highest mountain and it's snowing in FL, AL, GA, SC & NC today. Pretty amazing. He is collecting a photo from every state and plans to post it on Google Earth.....would make a fun screen saver! I'd prefer a screen saver showing palm trees in all 50 states. We agree on this Dee...so would rather have palm trees! |

Elite 4372 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge 11 mile run done. Ran on the rail trail out here. It was beautiful but covered in snow so it was like running in the sand. Yikes. I didn't have my garmin but Beth did. I am not sure if I want to know our pace. It was insanely slow. But we covered the distance. |

Master 2146 East Side of the Bay | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge Valentine HUGS to you all!! I had a pleasant swim today and after looking at the school vacation pool schedule it looks like I might be able to get in MORE swimming this week than usual. I am under my goal more than I would like esp since I will be out of town on the 28th so I am hoping to swim on M, TU and TH this week in addition to one day on the weekend!! Keep your fingers crossed there are no "chemical" issues with all the kiddies in the pool this week! |

Extreme Veteran 671 Not Quite DFL | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge Hi gang, sorry I have been AWOL. Work has been kicking my tail. so has the snow packed roads and bitter cold. It's no fun running in the dark on snow pack. I finally got another run in on Friday (had the day off for Lincoln's Bday, have today off for Pres. Day) I hope to get my run in today - but the kids are home....can't really leave a 6 y/o in charge of the 5 and 2.5 year old. My schedule (training for a half) calls for 4-5 hills....not sure how far I am supposed to run, but it's 1.1 miles or so to the hill, so I guess I'll get at least 3 in? On a good note, before taking my dw out for dinner on Sat. we stopped at body n sole and I picked up a new pair of Brooks - adrenaline - after having my gait anaylzed. Said I pronate, but not much. I guess that is good. |

Expert 1246 West Grove, PA | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge Happy Belated Valentines Day, HUGS! I also apologize for being AWOL... Duane said that work has been kicking his tail... Well my TAIL has been kicking my tail! My injury from last week appears to be A-OK now, so I am declaring this week to be "RUN MY TAIL OFF WEEK"! In order to attain my 60 mile goal for the month, I needed to average 15 miles per week. Well, considering I ran 3.1 miles last week, I am now 12 miles behind goal. So I will need to average 21 miles over the next 2 weeks. I'm going to the Y in the next 1/2 hour and I'm running (and walking and crawling, if I have to!) 6 miles. No more winter blues. WOOT! |

Getting a little behind in your goal is worth it when you get a chance to make it up to your sweetie for the time you spend away from the family. Now dig in and work to catch up on your goal. |

Elite 3460 Slackerville, USA | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge I'm a little behind on my posts with the busy weekend but I got my workout in Saturday. I'm was a little disappointed with the elliptical workout on Saturday but then felt it on Sunday. It seemed really easy at the time and so I spent over an hour cruising on the elliptical (yes it was my first time on the elliptical). I'm heading back for another workout on the elliptical tonight. |

Elite 4372 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge Hit the trainer this afternoon. The plan was to do an hour and a half. I made it 45 minutes. Just wasn't feeling it. Then I also realized that I cannot run tomorrow (kids don't have school) so I am on the trainer again tomorrow. Take 2 at the 1:30 ride. |

Master 2146 East Side of the Bay | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge Hola Huggers! It's been an interesting on call weekend indeed. Too many pages on Sat but I got an 8 mi run in- just interrupted off the dreadie every 5-30 minutes. Squeezed in a swim (love goal) on Sunday afternoon....then spent from midnight to 6 am in the ER with my hubby as he tried to pass yet another kidney stone....then the pager started going off again at 9 this morning. Between calls and taking care of the hub I was ALMOST shut out of the pool again.....but not quite! Did enough to make it count for the goal. Teaching a spin class tonight from 7:30-9. Doing Jorge's wk 8 q3 (4 x 12.5' intervals at increasing watts) as all NOLA Mardi Gras stuff, then I plan to collapse. No office hours tomorrow yay! Hoping to get in 4 swims this week so I will have only 1 left for the last week of the month. |
