Best smex of your life, one detail:  just a disgusting sweaty mess

Haha, when "disgusting" can be used as an adjective, you know it was good.

I just got an email about the Tough Mudder coming to Toronto... I'm so tempted, but it's less than a month before my HIM next year... I don't know if doing a race like that would be a great idea.

Do it!  It would be a good warm up run, just a little messy!

I'm very, very tempted. But man, those obstacles look crazy!

Also, I will be applying to work with Tough Mudder. They have a few jobs that I think I would qualify for, which is awesome!

A Tough Mudder is a different ballgame, though. Some of the obstacles look REALLY hard, and I don't know if I'd physically be able to do them. Things like climbing 12 foot walls... Other than that, I'm sure it's all possible, but really, really hard. Crawling under wire at 8" off the ground... I'm pretty sure my body is more than 8" tall laying down.

I'm doing Tough Mudder in Tampa in like 2 weeks. I'll let you know how it'd factor in with 70.3 training!

What better way to learn about the company!

Haha, this is very true...

It's actually kinda cool. They have a position open for a Course manager in their "OBSTACLE CONSTRUCTION + INNOVATION" team. It might actually even be somewhat of an engineering job...
