Hi everyone!  I have been following along with the thread as I have been rehabbing my Achilles.  I have started running, although with a run/walk interval.  As of yesterday, the run interval has surpassed the walk interval, so I would like to rejoin the challenge.  I have adjusted my goal miles on the spreadsheet to reflect my new start date.  Looking forward to building back up with you guys!

Welcome back!!!

Thanks!  Got in just over 2 miles this am.  Glad I got my but out of bed before work, cause it was nice out--now it is raining....again.

Apparently, my tablet doesn't let me do image links, so I'm gonna try this again.  This was a shot of my dreadmill when I finished my lunch run yesterday:  For the record, the time is 37:30.

Ok, everybody try this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0An7ZkKfHG1L1dGZnamsyaVVadHllQmRGMXhNYk5tTnc

As Bill says, login with [email protected] and password ChallengeForum2.  So to update, simply enter your total mileae next to your login.  Then it will calculate if you are behind or ahead of the pace bunny.

For all you new comer's here is the spreadsheet information.  Let's keep the bunny at bay!!!

As for me, looking at the plan, I will probably lose ground to the pace bunny over the next 4 to 5 weeks and then start playing leap frog and then passing him again as I build to a short sprint DU in July (definitely low key race plans this year)

Hey, it is day 80 of 2013.  Phileas Fogg can go around the world in 80 days.  The Pace Rabbit can go 219.18 miles.

How about you?  Are you on pace with your plan/goals in order to achieve what you want this year???

Ah ha!  It all becomes clear!  Didn't get the bunny remarks earlier :-)  Okay, game on, Bunny!

About ready to cash it in for the year and take up competitive knitting. Foot still has me side-lined; going to see the doc next week to find out what's going on.

Good luck to everyone - hang in there!

Internet has been beyond horrible lately here so I haven't been posting much, but my logs are up to date. I think I'm on track for where I want to be. I've got my first 5k scheduled and have several other races picked out for this year - with maybe a half mary in late September.

Hey all, I just found this thread and I'm glad I did. My goal this year has been to run 1000 miles. So far I'm 200 miles in which means 800 more to go!

Welcome!  This is a fun, slightly crazy group.  Log into the spreadsheet (several posts above is the link) and entered your names and miles and get in on the race against each other and the pace rabbit.

Looks like I'm going to be losing more ground to that blasted rabbit...  I rolled my right ankle while dismounting my motorcycle this morning.  It's not swelling up, but it hurts to put weight on it and to walk on it.  I dare not try going for a run with it like this.

C'est le vie, right?

Well, I woke up to 7 inches of snow on our deck.  AJ still wanted to go run our 10k this morning.  Got there and they cut it down to a 5k.  She still wanted to go out.  Here is her finish (it was funny the truck with a blade came through about a minute after I finished so she had a little less snow on the ground for her last mile.  (Speedknight - she might have been sprinting you for the finish base on her time today - without that rolled ankle at least - heal quickly)

Awesome!  I love running in the snow...don't get it a whole lot here in Vancouver.

Ankle feels better this morning.  Iced it down foor a while last night, and stayed off of it as much as I could.  I'm gonna crash out for an hour or two when I get home, then I plan to treat my whole body to a good soaking in some very hot, epsom salted bath water.

Hopefully, I'll be set for a 5K on Monday.  That will be easy enough that it shouldn't over stress my ankle and I'll still get a good workout.

Scott, awesome pix of AJ!!!!  Is she the oldest?   And the track star?  She is adorable.  I know it was fun to run the race with her - because of her.

I laid off it yesterday,  I did soak in the tub for a while.  It feels fine for now.

I might head to the gym at lunch to lift some weights, but I won't be running again until Wednesday.  The way I feel now, I should be set by then.
