Subject: RE: 1 year, 1000 milesSet your goals where ever you need to. For me it's 1,000 miles. That's enough that if I don't keep up on it I'll fall really far behind really fast - but not so much that it takes forever. I'm pretty slow, but even for me three miles is less than an hour a day. So depending on how you want to break it down: 1,000 miles a year 83.333 miles a month 19.23 miles a week 2.74 miles a day If you run 3 miles a day instead of 2.74, you can miss almost 32 days and still meet the goal. So there is some flex room. Just depends on what works for you. I'd say we should check in with the group at least weekly, any less often and it's too easy to get left behind. Also, if someone wants to join in the middle, I'm cool with that. We can either prorate miles, or your year can start whenever you do. Good Luck! |
