Totally s.hitty thing to happen, but the response from the tri community and people who are total strangers just amazes me.

yeah, I was reading that yesterday and it's amazing.  So nice to see so many strangers attempt to go above and beyond.  I bet that dude has a real emotional race.  I hope he rocks it

So I'm not a toucher at all.  In fact, casual touching really freaks me out. 

In my line of work (sales) I meet a lot of people and most of them are good with just the regular old handshake.  Occasionally I'll come across someone who touches my arm while they're talking or something like that, but usually I can control my freak-out-run-away reflex.

Well,  this morning at 8 freaking a.m. I met a guy for the first time at a Starbucks to do a needs analysis on his business and talk advertising.  We've spoken on the phone and via email maybe 3 times prior to this meeting.

When I walk in he walks right up to me and bear hugs me in the middle of Starbucks.  Then he tells me that Jesus is so pleased that we finally got a chance to meet.

My skin is STILL crawling.  I feel like I need a bath.
