Comet-- well whatever kind of paper you make, not sure if the noxious fumes, are worth it anyway... There's an Appleton paper plant a few miles from my house, and it stinks to high heaven.

Saling-- I like squeezing it. I can't stand the one-ply TP.

i knew someone would say that. but i really feel for you if you are wiping you butt with the paper we make. so go ahead sailing wipe away with some 90# linerboard. can you say major paper cut.

accually i am looking forward to going back to school. NO MORE GRAVEYARD
the thought of having to look for employment is not all that intriguing to me but oh well, i will take it as it comes. do my best and capitalize on this oporotunity(sp). maybe i should take a class in basic reading and righting so i can learn how to spell.

Are you kidding me??? You'd have to make multiple folds just so it would fit in the crack... That stuff is pretty stiff. And if that makes you a man-->using this paper vs. the regular... well then I guess I'm not one.

Trust me I'm pulling more than the rear... Today was up to 193.2... I really need to get back to some daily workouts. I think I've slacked enough. I just wish that I had the time though. I'm at school for about 14 hr/day, then come home eat and crash. I'm so exhausted with all the reading/studying/tutoring I have. What little relaxation time I do get I either spend it in front of the boob tube, or drinking a beer... Though I've been working on a plan to get me back in the good graces of the TRI gods. That is next qtr, after Nov 26., I'll be taking Yoga (as an elective) at school, and trying much harder to fit in as much exercise (nightly) as possible. I do tend to workout much more and harder during the winter months though. So maybe my slacking is just par for the course.

Hello Team Skinny,

Just doing a quick check in of shame. This off season is KILLING me!!! I have turned into a chocolate eating machine...I have somehow convinced myself that I NEED several candy bars PER DAY! to make it through the day. That in combination with my dwindling workouts has meant..gaining weight!! Since my last tri of the season, I have gained 8 pounds. What a surprise!!! Thank fully, I have lost 3 of those regained pounds but still, I am annoyed!! And its no one's fault but my own. Sigh!!! It almost as if when my structured workouts ended, my structured healthy eating went out the door. Has this happened to anyone else? Need some motivation!!

I have decided to get back on my game and lose 10 pounds by the end of the year. Its not an impossible task, it just requires me getting out of my confort zone..which I have done before!!!Thank you for listening.

Yeah, but at this point I don't think 15-20 min. is going to do that much. I'm already walking about two hours a day plus added backpack weight of 30-40 lbs. I thought that, that would keep my metabolism engaged, and it really hasn't... I want to start back to running, and biking, so I'm looking into a gym membership (treadmill & recumbant work) + the X! or Yoga as an elective at school, would fill in about 5 days/wk... So, I've got some decisions to make.

Other than that, things have been fine. I increased my long run to 5 miles and really enjoyed that. Been camping and hiking and it was GREAT. I think its the hiking that brought me back to reality, its amazing how you can really FEEL an additional 5 pounds when you are hiking up a mountain...go figure. We are planning to so some more fall and winter camping/hiking...I am hoping that in addition to my cardio DVDs I should be able to get back on track by the end of the year. Other than that, new job is falling into place..and life is pretty much great :-) So not much to complain about...which is what is making it possible for me to focus on the ONE thing I am slacking on...so here I am today...ready to "get out of my comfort zone." The goal for this week is to lose 2 pounds...that wont kill me So that is what I intend to do!!!

Good to see you here Mak.  I don"t think 2 will kill you either.  If you want to work out your entire body AND get some cardio in try 10 minute trainer by Tony Horton (same guy does P90X).  It would actually be 20 min's because you will do 2 workouts.

Glad everything is working out for you and hiking is a lot of fun.  I don't like the cold that much so winter hiking/camping is not for this old guy.
