pb&j for lunch... awesome.

Re-heated, home-made shrimp putanesca pizza. Shrimp, black olives, capers, garlic, tomatoes, cheese.More awesome. This awesome goes to 11.
Sometimes... the simplest is the best... That's my story at any rate...

My diet has been stellar today - bacon, egg and cheese ciabatta sammich from Panera, and just finished an Amy's organic broccoli pot pie (actually pretty tasty). Have an apple for a snack later. Going to a party tonight to consume copious amounts of wine and cheese. Ah well, every day can't be a winner...

Waiting for wavedog to bounce in with that mention of BACON!

You've never had pad thai?! It's very YOM. Noodles and egg and peanuts, sprouts and yummy sweet sauce - and usually made with chicken and shrimp, but you can also do tofu if you are veggie. I will order tofu dishes at asian restaurants since they're usually prepared well - I don't always do well making tofu on my own.

Syaotblh - 2009-11-13 1:23 PM Salad & crackers - now that is exciting!!!

That's what I had for lunch every day this week, except for today (out of spinach this morning), but I cracked last night and had a yummy sammich from a local place that's fantastic, with pastrami and cheese. Think next week, I need to hard boil some eggs and throw one of those on the salad for some more filling protein. I can eat a pile of veggies until I explode and am still hungry (unless it's something starchy like potatoes). Carbs don't really fill me up.

In my head it's sounding like "Pah tay" for some reason.

Can't complain its my normal lunch about 90% of the time.  I throw garbanzo beans on my salad.  If it's cold I eat like soup to warm the body.

I like vegetables. I just get sick of "salad" easily.

and better than my salad

My pot pie sounds better than your salad . Kidding - though it was actually pretty decent for a frozen pot pie. Crust was good, sauce was good, veggies inside were good. And it's disgusting out here, so comfort food sounded amazing in the frozen section of Harris Teeter this morning.

Morning, TAN.

Wifey told me this morning that she bought tickets for us to see the live plays Grease and Rent next year.  Also, tickets for the live show The Lion King go on sale at the beginning of Dec. and she'll try to purchase those!  The shows are in Madison and not New York, though.  Oh, well.
