Got in the pool today for the first time in three years. Pretty tough, and wow have I gotten even slower. Tough to get 600 yds in, but I did it. Three months till my race, and its a pool swim of 250m, so I'm feeling good that I at least won't die.

I finally have a little more time to get on BT.  Baby has been teething and he is not dealing with it very well.  I think he had his first temper tantrum yesterday!  He did let me get my tri bike on the trainer and ride her for 30 minutes yesterday.  I was very happy to get THAT much done!  Poor guy.

Daddy will take care of him at lunch today while I go for a rainy run.  Have a great day!

Yes, it will all come back.  And slow is much better than not doing it at all.

WAY TO GO HEARTS!

2 more miles for me today.  I'm 80% done.  I just need 5 1/2 more miles by Sunday.  Speaking of Sunday, hopefully we can pull tonights hockey game out of our butts and play our friendly rival team (you guys down there) for the gold.  I'm pretty excited for the ladies game on Thursday.

Swimming does come back.  I hadn't swum for nearly 20 years when I started triathlon.

TOP SECRET - HEARTS EYES ONLY (This means you Ricky Bobby)

What happens if all teams meet their goals?  Should we shoot for a 1 or 2% overage in case of a tie?...

P.S. I just wanted to say how great being a part of the challenge was.  It's my first one and it really keeps me motivated as I feel accountable to the team.  I would not have run this much in February if not for the challenge.

I have the option of declaring everyone a winner. I could also try to separate on the basis of the greatest percentage of teammates that are at 100% but probably wouldn't bother. The goal is to get/keep people motivated.

I think if you're over 100%, you need to raise your goals a bit next month.  OR....you went too hard this month and need to follow your plan a little better next month.

I just wanted to say that I'm usually more vocal, and I haven't been the most supportive team member this month. But I still felt accountable to all of you, and if I hadn't been in a challenge this month I probably would have given up during the snowstorms. So....I guess, sorry I wasn't really here, but thanks to all of you who were.

No sorry's needed.  As long as you got what you needed out of the challenge that is the important thing.

If you can do it without over extending yourself, up to 105% counts for the challenge.  But don't force too much.

Did some more LOVE miles today!  I should reach 100% later this week.  Possibly go over depending on whether or not I do a 5K this weekend.  Life may interfere!

Oh, I doubt I'll be going over my mileage.  That was more of joke, as I didn't know how the challenge worked.  I set my goal based on a very small increase in what I was already doing.  It's working beautifully.  I've made progress to be sure.

x2 on the "no saying sorry" policy .  Hopefully, we've been able to support you, Atlantia!

I got an another swim this morning but kept it shorter since I'm feeling fatigued. Will do another on Friday. I think I'll hit 105%

I'm taking some mental health time today and will also be going for a bike ride! *happy dance*

Mental health days are good, especially when we're supposed to get more snow.

Hi Hearts!  I've been off the forum for a while - I snuck in a trip to St. John in the USVI.  AWESOME!  And I ran a few times while there for my LOVE Goal - no slacking allowed!  I made it to 100% today on that one, the others have lagged a bit!  I should be able to get one more run in before the challenge is over.

Great job to all of you!  This has been fun and motivational!

I got out for a 20 mile ride: 10 miles out against the wind and 10 miles back. The wind kicked my arse pretty good.

I really needed this!
