More hiking to be done today but that doesn't count as training (assuming the monsoon rains hold off).  I hit my target training so no real disappointment in my totals for June.  I expected them to be lower due to taper, although I blew the swim totals out of the water.  Ha, out of the water...pun wasn't intended.  Goal for July is to simply hit my targets and train by HR as the plan lays out.

Swimming aside, June was a great month.  I'm fully recovered.  Missed a workout here and there, but hit all the key sessions.  Feel like I had a big improvement on the bike this month.  Need to ratchet up the volume a bit more in July, and be more diligent about swimming.

Ugh. Didn't realize the run volume was so low. If anyone wants to put a run plan together for me, I'd be willing to faithfully follow it.  Goals for July are to ramp up the bike and run.

The run totals were lacking in June, but hopefully that will change this month.  Pleased with the other totals....need to increase the time on the bike a bit...looking forward to July.

Hey guys, who has some fun 4th of July plans for the weekend?  None for me, unless you count reimaging my work laptop again.  I'll get that puppy all working and they'll probably ship me a new one the next day.  There's a race out here this weekend so I am volunteering for packet stuffing today.  How I didn't notice it was in the middle of a work day is beyond me.  Oh well, I have fairly flexible hours, in that they feel fine calling me at all hours of the day so I feel fine with taking part of the afternoon off.    Maybe I'll see if it is to late to volunteer for the race itself.  I orginally wasn't going to cause Tina was suppose to be home but she got extended in the field. 

Happy Friday and 4th of July everyone.  I'm in shock because I actually have Monday off of work (uncommon to get holiday's off in my industry) so I have a 3 day weekend ahead.  I can't wait, I need it bad.

Nothing huge planned for me this weekend, Kim.  Going over a friends house Saturday for pooling/bbq/heavy drinking.  Will likely spend most of Sunday recovering.  I'm not great with huge drunken crowds so I don't think we're planning on going to any of the big fireworks things going on around here.  We'll probably just catch the view from the house of the ones being shot off a few miles away.

There are also a few movies out I want to see, so I might coerce husband into a date to see A-Team at some point.

Thrilling, eh?
