Subject: RE: SWBKRUN Mentor Group-Closed! KEEP ASKING QUESTIONS!!! Barry, Sorry to hear you're sick. I agree with John. You need to rest up and get better ... then put your time in for Augusta. If you try to keep training through it (sounds like you have) your body is not going to like you Anohter note.... I have missed the sit-up challenge info (don't know why...I'm sure it's in a post somewhere in one of the 228 pages of this group). I'm in...now where do I find out all about what I just got myself into? |

Am I reading this correctly? You are putting vibrating watches in your pocket? No wonder you are excited about your new toy. and that for your 1000th post. go figure Crap Tracy, I thought the winking face after my post meant I was just joking around. I may have to try it though one day. glad it was just winking, I thought maybe you got something in your eye - "Is that hair gel?" Absolutely hilarious, one of my favorite scenes from one of the best movies of all time!!! That scene as well as " WE"VE GOT A BLEEDER" Franks and beans, franks and beans.... That was pretty funny but he did "THROUGH" his club into the sandtrap! I am here, like Tony I have actually been somewhat busy at work, and vaca last week so I haven't been on-line too much (or even working out for that matter!) Which is scary because we have a 75 mile ride on Saturday morning biking up to Paradise on Mt Rainer- about 20 miles of uphill! Views should be REALLY rewarding! Good thing I biked a few miles early last week. Haven't done jack this week, but that is good for the body sometimes. I will give the situp deal a whirl.... Sounds fun! HEY I NEVER SAW THE WHO'S RACING THIS WEEKEND ???- I thought we did this on Weds.? Member 69 Calgary, Alberta | Subject: RE: SWBKRUN Mentor Group-Closed! KEEP ASKING QUESTIONS!!! Hi Everyone! I'm signed up for my very first half marathon this October, the Nike Women's Half in San Fran. I am trying to find a training plan to follow and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. Currently I can run 10k with no problem, but when I try to go further, my legs start to feel strained at about 11-12k. I found this one on the Runners World website. It is for people's first half marathon so I was wondering what people thought. http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-238-244--9369-1-1X2X3X4X5X6X7-8,00.html I would love to hear everyones recommendations! Rehearsal tomorrow night, Wedding Friday night and Reception Sunday afternoon. Barely can get my flippin' workouts in with all the frivolity! So who is doing what on the race circuit? |

I haven't built my 2010 plan yet (except for my A race), but will be doing one or two half marathons in the Winter and Spring. Given the winters in WIsconsin I would be more than a little interested heading South or West in search of warmer temps and friendly faces. Suzy |
