I would be down for a shirt! I have no idea if I will have any dedicated supporters, but would be up for at least a shirt for myself for the pre race stuff. And I would pass the info on to anyone that ends up coming.I would say that it would be nice if we can get the shirts as "last minute" as possible. I think folks missed out last year because they were ordered kind of early (IMHO).But whatever you do, don't let the poor chick in Iraq get stuck without one, mkay? Someone please hit me over the head if you are placing the order and I haven't responded. I don't get to check this thread as much as I want to!p.s. The pool here is better than my pool at home. Sad, eh?

Question - are the support crew shirts going to be bright pink as well?  Don't think DH would go for that!

In the brand shirts we want to order pink isn't an option.

We need would need to see if jccbulldog, our official IMFL BT shirt guy, check with printing place to see if other suppliers have hot pink in wicking shirts.

Well it's almost march and spring is in the horizon ! Yippee, I'm looking forward to bike training outside.

My training is going extremely well. Knock on wood, no injury and feeling strong. I'm doing some prettry hard out season traininig with Endurance Nation to increase my power in my bike and my run speed. This week was test week and i'm happy to say that my bike power FTP is right at 200 ( 2x20 test) and I did a run test yesterday ( 23:25 5k). Previous run PR was 26:00 even so I'm so happy about that !!!!

My goals are coming together so far and I"m looking forward to the next stage of training. Next up VO2 max workouts on the bike, increase lenghts of my runs ( 20k trail run in early april) and masters swim in march.

Great training everybody !!

Huge improvement on your 5K time. How much did your V Dot go up? That will make a big potential time gain in a IM.

My VDOT went from 36 to 41. Yeah, i'm prettry excited. It's early too in the season so who knows how fast I can get. It's exciting ! Something really clicked in my running this year. I think it's a combination of things but interval running and testing I think really helped. I was also doing a 3-4 mile snowshoe race ( in very hilly park) every other wednesday . Whatever it was I will continue. I need to up my goals though and even though I tested really well I now will have even harder workouts. It's the way it goes if I want to improve. Like at EN we say "Work..Works". Hopefully keep injuries away this year !!

Thanks Kathy and btw I'm glad your mom is doing better.

I asked a lady here that has done printing on t-shirts for me. She can get wicking material, but no hot pink. She has a light pink but I don't think that would stand out as well. Not sure on pricing from her for the wicking. Hot pink may be hard to find.

Personally I don't care if it' a wicking shirt or not. I have plenty, and I'm sure I'll accumulate a few more before IMFL gets here.

I'd like to consider yellow.  We did orange last year and I think the IM logo in red on the front of a yellow shirt would look great.

Also, the ordering last year was done about as last minute as possible.  We've got to get the quanities, the printing co has to order the shirts, then screen them (which they wont start until they have the order), then I have to mail them in time for everyone to get them before they come to FL and some folks are in Canada and some go down almost a full week in advance, etc...  Shirts need to be ordered probably by October 1st.

Alright here's this month's totals with a percentage comparison of volume to last month.

February's totals:
Bike:9h 25m 51s  - 171.17 Mi
Run:4h 55m 07s  - 37.19 Mi
Swim:3h 13m 24s  - 9350 Yd

Bike: 134.8%
Run: 104%
Swim: 214.9%

I definitely need some more gains in the run department in March.

Given all that went on this month with my Mom and traveling to MN, I am pleased. My run is building and did a 1/2 Mary today and did big negative split. I will bumping up weekly miles and frequency moving more towards 5x a week. Swimming working at swimming hard to improve my speed after spending 3 months on technique. Biking is taking back seat now as it is my strength have been doing FTP and VO2 max intervals. I need to get outside to ride more as I'm doing a HIM in about 8-9 weeks.

February's totals:
Bike:7h 54m 56s  - 133.68 Mi
Run:13h 38m 46s  - 71 Mi
Swim:11h 22m 40s  - 23650 Yd

Finally got outside this weekend for a 51 mile bike ride. Felt great to be back outside, but I do need to get outside more often. The trainer helps your rear get use to the seat, but my legs could feel the hills.
